Tele Vue AVI-3200 Visual Imaging System Adapter for BIG Paracorr Type-2

Introducing "VISA" for the BIG Paracorr Type-2
For dual-purpose photo/visual scopes, the "VISA" (Visual / Imaging System Adapter) allows the BIG Paracorr Type-2 to accept Tele Vue eyepiece and photographic accessories. Attach "VISA" by unscrewing the Stop Flange from the top of the BIG Paracorr Type-2 and replacing it with the "VISA". Tighten the "VISA" snuggly.

"VISA" Visual Use
A "VISA" adapter accepts the tunable top from the standard Tele Vue 2" Paracorr Type-2. A 3" Tunable Top is not necessary visually since secondary mirror size limits maximum exit pupil diameter to around 7mm. The widest true field eyepiece choice with an f/3 (f/3.45 when used with Paracorr) is, therefore, Tele Vue's own 21mm Ethos which delivers a 6.1mm exit pupil at f/3.45.

"VISA" Imaging Use
You must add a 1/4" Imaging System spacer (model # TLA-0250) to the top of the "VISA" for imaging use. If you have a 35mm format DLSR, simply use the CWT-2070 or TRG-1072 with appropriate T-Ring. For CCD cameras use Tele Vue Imaging System spacers to achieve 55mm from chip to the end of the spacer stack. The "VISA" adapter accepts the full range of camera adapters, nose pieces, filter holders, spacers, etc. from the Tele Vue Imaging System.
