US ARMY Monoscope with compass !
The mono scope was everything I expected - but when I viewed through it a small bubble was floating around the compass partially blocking the ability to see the compass degrees . I called your customer service and they said to return it for a replacement. The girls name was Serena A and she was wonderful. The US Army 8x42 Waterproof Compass Monocular utilize a BAK 4 roof prism optical design with anti-reflection multicoated optics to create images that are both clear and bright. It is waterproof, so users can bring it on the water with confidence and with a comfortable 8x magnification and 56deg. apparent field of view, subjects are easy to see, identify and track with less noticeable shake than with higher-power monoculars.
This wide viewing angle reduces wave-action discomfort at sea and provides expansive views. An integrated magnetic compass with in-view display provides easy-to-see bearing readouts while navigating. Non-slip rubber armoring helps maintain a firm grip on the monocular, while the fold-down rubber eyecups make it easy to use with or without eyewear.
