Great product for WISPS
Great switch for use on top of the tower. Negates the need for multiple strands of copper going up the tower as you can run DC/Fiber to the switch with short jumpers to your equipment. I have 5 of these on hand currently.

This high-speed router is a breakthrough in tower deployment, featuring FiberProtect to significantly diminish electrostatic discharge (ESD) failures and electromagnetic interference (EMI). This technology enhances data signal integrity and consolidates the wired data backhaul to a single fiber cable run, making it ideal for long-distance connectivity.
The EdgePoint's all-in-one design is a testament to efficiency, eliminating the need for expensive cabinets, extraneous installations, and excessive maintenance. Its robust construction is designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions, including wind, rain, and snow. The router comes with a cable sleeve for added protection, but it can be replaced with your own conduit if preferred.
For the EP-R6 and EP-R8 models, powerful routing features such as load balancing and failover provide redundancy and increased performance for outdoor wireless links. The EP-S16 model offers layer-2 link aggregation for similar benefits.
The EdgePoint is powered by either 54VDC or PoE, with the EP-R8 and EP-S16 models supporting 54 or 24V passive PoE to power all Ubiquiti products, including airFiber and airMAX. The EP-R6 model, powered by 24VDC or PoE, supports 24V passive PoE to power most Ubiquiti products.
