Very solid build. Soft but workeable wide open, very sharp indeed at f8. Truly lovely rich colours and rendition, produces stunning images on D300 and D3S. If I didn't already have one I'd figure out a way to buy it and get it sent to the UK! It's a proper sleeper of a lens!
