Not for your standard photography tripod
The base is a quick release, not a screw on. It is designed to work with Ultrec "sticks" not much else.. The grip had a hefty feel and I was hoping to get a replacement easily with a 3/8-16 screw base, but that turned out to be too great an effort. Sadly, I just got frustrated. I ended up returning this to Adorama. I tried to work with Ultrec, but that didn't go real well. They never answer their phone, but they would eventually respond to emails. I even wrote an email giving my phone number and asked them to call me. That went unanswered for 2 days.
