Honestly, it's like other mini tripods out there in terms of looks. Features free standing legs that are good for different set ups. The ball head mount gives you options on how you want to position your action camera, light, etc. the word I would describe this tripod given the features would be versatile. And this is versatile, but not in terms of a gorilla-pod versatility, obviously..
