3D Touch. The next generation of Multi Touch
iPhone 6s introduces an entirely new way to interact with your phone. For the first time, iPhone senses how much pressure you apply to the display. Peek and Pop let you preview all kinds of content and even act on it - without having to actually open it. For example, with a light press you can Peek at each email in your inbox. Then when you want to open one, press a little deeper to Pop into it.

Quick Actions. A shortcut to the things you do the most
Quick Actions let you do the things you do most often faster and in fewer steps. You can start a message to your favorite contacts. Or instantly bring up the camera to snap a selfie. Or immediately get directions home. Many of these actions can even be done with a single press, right from the Home screen. Many Quick Actions work right from the Home screen and require only a single press. For example, just press the Phone icon to quickly call one of your favorite contacts.

Dynamic Wallpapers
With Live Photos, your favorite moments are now even closer at hand. Set a Live Photo as your Lock screen wallpaper and press to watch it come alive. You can choose any of your Live Photos or select from the Dynamic Wallpapers that come with iOS 9.

The A9 chip brings a new level of performance and efficiency to iPhone 6s. Not only a faster experience, but a better one. The A9 chip is capable of gaming console-class graphics performance that makes games and other apps much richer and more immersive.

The A9 chip is Apple third-generation chip with 64-bit architecture. Security
In addition to the enhanced fingerprint security of Touch ID, the default passcode length is now six digits instead of four. With one million possible combinations instead of 10,000, your passcode will be even stronger. You can also enable two-factor authentication, which prompts you for a verification code when you sign in from a new browser or on a new device. This code is automatically displayed on your other Apple devices or sent to your phone, so you can quickly gain access to your account while unauthorized users are kept out.
