Great filter to have in your kit
Nice filter works as promised. This is not technically an IR filter, it allows only red light through. The results are great.
Exploring infrared
I purchased this filter specifically for a lens that?s still backordered, but I went ahead and tried it out on a different lens just to see how it worked. The filter itself is well constructed and the case is great. So far, the filter seems to work as intended, though I can see that I definitely need to learn a little more about infrared photography and how to adjust the images in post. I?m excited to learn more and expand my photography horizons!

Our professional Infrared Filter Plus+ cuts all visible wavelengths of light so you can capture invisible infrared light for uniquely stunning images.
We can see light in the wavelengths from roughly 400 to 700nm, anything above this is called infrared light. Our Infrared Filter Plus+ cuts all wavelengths below 720nm allowing you to capture the otherwise invisible light in the infrared range. This filter is an exciting tool for creative experimentation for outdoor and nature photographers.
Our Plus+ range features 20 layers of nano-coating providing easier cleaning and better protection against water, oil and scratches. These layers also provide a higher maximum light transmission and a more consistent transmission curve for sharper images, finer colors and greater depth. Please note, this filter is not compatible with cameras that have an IR blocking filter in front of the sensor.
