This grip improves the handling of the 642 I carry as a backup. The grip feels like it's tailored to my hands. I like the feel of the handles. The laser hasn't shifted zero since I first installed and adjusted it. Excellent product! I wish CT would introduce the same type of grip for the LCR.

The best for J-Frame

Put this laser grip on my 40 year old 38 sp revolver. Small gap in butt area but grip feels tight. Easy to adjust strike point. Will work well in the dark

J frame upgrade

Price was great.....Fit to the firearm was great ....bore sighted yet to test it but have purchased many others and they all have held up.......crimson trace is a little pricey but they last....

Excellent Addition

Put these on a S&W model 60 .357 2.125. The green laser comes on instinctively with a good grip, lined right up, & the rounds hit where pointed. With .38 SPL, .38 SPL+P, & .357 the grips provide great recoil reduction making it more comfortable to practice. Great to be able to see the laser even in bright daylight. Definitely a vast improvement & worth the expense. Bought a GALCO Wraith Holster for the same gun from the Crimson trace website & it too works great with the grips installed (tight). Thanks Crimson Trace!

A vast improvement

But if you pocket carry in a pocket holster the LG-350 G grips are a little harder to hide. I take size 44 jeans so the pockets may be more generous in depth

Good grips

The bottom of the grip does not close completely; there is a very slight gap - a molding issue, I suppose. Not serious enough to matter, really. There is a notch in the top of the backstrap that I suppose is for the hammer, but I have a hammerless model.... Also when I place my trigger finger at ready below the cylinder, I block the laser beam. Will have to learn to keep my trigger finger on the guard, instead. Small gun, big hands. The grip feels good in the hand, and that is what matters. A nice addition to the handgun, all in all.

Expected better fit for the money.

I bought a set for my old S&W.38 Cal. Model 60 J frame. I installed them in minutes myself and I am delighted with them. I am a large person (6'2" @ 230 lbs.) & had left the old stock wood S&W grips on the gun, since I first purchased it in the 80's. 
 
 I was wary of any aftermarket hand grip replacements. My motto.."Don't fix it, if it ain't broke", so when I decided to get a laser site, for my snub nosed pistol, after doing the same for my old Glock 17 9mm, I got another one of these, from Crimson trace also. The grip fits my big hands just perfectly. 
 
 I had occasion to contact the Crimson Trace folks, on the phone, just for information purposes. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they are located in Oregon USA...not +*&% China. They were most pleasant & helpful fellow Americans. HOOAAH ! C.T.

I bought a set for S&W .38 Cal. Model 60 J frame.

Perfect fit on my 642. I've got huge hands so the button placement is a bit awkward for me but great for my wife. Very good range on the laser even during the day. My only real complaint is the battery life. Even with minimal use I have to change out the batteries every four months or so. If batteries lasted longer I would give it a five-star rating.

OK Except For Battery Life

This is a really nice grip. It is a great replacement of the stock grip for the stock grip on my S&W 442, especially for me as I have bigger hands the Crimson Trace from it is a bit thicker than the stock, and it is also extended by about an inch. Also, the placement of the lazer button is in a really nice spot, so you don't have to change positions on your grip to actuate it. The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars is because, the top of the grip is not fully enclosed and could allow dust or debris to more easily enter the frame where the firing spring is, which means you have to take the grip off more often and clean it out. Although Crimson Trace has put a cushion type seal there, but as I am picky, I wish It would have been fully enclosed.
