Love the design of the ergo stand and being able to move it around my desk. The monitor is easy on the eyes both on and off

I bought this about a year ago and it has served me without faults. Previous monitors would show some issues at about 6 months from flickering or the stand it came with getting stiff but this one has been flawless. I use it with a desktop always plugged in and with a macbook that can be docked easily with the single USB C connection providing enough power to keep it charged.

I love the size and flexibility of the monitor and stand, although it occasionally will malfunction. The screen will still have power, but nothing is visible.

I bought this monitor two months ago because my usb-c hub would keep loosing signal to the monito. So i decided i would go with a usb-c monitor fix my issue and reducing the amount of cables i need. This LG Ergo Monitor is hands down the best monitor i have owed. It provides and beautiful 4k image. I really enjoy only needing one cable to provide display and power passthrough. The Ergo design is a huge plus providing my with much more desk space. But over all this monitor Performs and looks outstanding!!!

I am from Brazil and I had to import this monitor because this specific model isn´t available here. I loved it because besides all the ergonomics features, it also has a impressive screen size a gorgeous quad-hd panel and the USB-C input allows me both power and extend my laptop screen. Very happy! :)

Bought this monitor for my new 'work from home' setup and I do love it. The stand moves firmly but smoothly, colors are saturated but accurate, and even the speakers rival most stuff that I own. The only complaint I have is that the HDR function is software-based and should def be turned off. But for the value, you can't beat this!

Love the Ergo concept and overall the monitor is very good. Nice colours. Sharp etc. The only let down isn’t unique to LG, it plagues all IPS monitors and that’s IPS glow. My son is just starting out in video editing and editing videos in the dark is impossible. Hopefully LG will make the new OLED monitors affordable for the normal person.

This is a great monitor. It is an improvement over the one that I replaced. It is sharper and has more saturated colors for sure. It is great for general office use (which is what I am using it for). That said, I am having one issue with it. I transitioned from an older MacMini to a new M1 MacMini. That is one of the reasons I decided to get this monitor. With the older MM I used the HDMI connection. That worked flawlessly. With the new MM I am using the USB-C connection. For the next week or so I have both connected. For some reason I am having problems when I start the new MM. To be clear, I NEVER have them both on at the same time. I will shut one down and start the other (even though I haven't started the old MM in days now). Sometimes when I start the new MM the screen remains blank. I have to go and unplug and replug the USB-C cable before it will show up. Again, the old MM is completely powered down. And yet, when I start the new MM it will always ask me something about wanting to switch to the HDMI port. It seems to know that there is a cable plugged in there even though the old MM is not turned on. Anyhow, once I fully transition to the new computer I will unplug and box up the old MM. Hopefully these problems will go away. Oh yes, and there is another anomaly... When I start up the new MM and enter my password and click OK and the computer is in the process of logging on, there seems to be a series of small (eery small) rectangular boxes (perhaps 7 of them?) that appear across (from left to right or right to left depending upon your perspective) the upper 1/3rd of the screen. Once the computer is fully booted up those boxes go away. I just hope that this isn't the beginning of some weird problem.

USB C broken on arrival. Very upset with overall experience from a customer service stand point. Was told to send in for a repair with a total turn around time of 2 weeks on a brand new product. Should have been sent a replacement. First and last LG product I will ever buy.

I bought this monitor 3 months ago and i have been really happy with it. I have been using it in my everyday office work. At times i feel like stand and work and this monitor really helps on it. The sound quality and the display quality is also very great. I would really recommend this to whoever is looking for ergonomic with great quality!!!!

I bought this monitor like 2 months ago and I'm not sure if I could have found a better one for my needs. Great picture quality, multiple ports, love the IPS panel and overall, it looks nice aesthetically. Also, I was thinking of getting some speakers for my setup but the ones on the monitor are good for me. And the mount, I just love all options that you have to use. Now I'm thinking in getting a 2nd monitor of this same model.

I bought this monitor 4 months ago. I thought it looks good. When I got this and connected with a computer, I found out there is a internal speaker in the monitor. The speak sounds great too. This company didn't describe anything of this. Amazing!!! The most thing that I like is the stand. It is really easy and comfortable to use that. In additionally, I think it's really cool that it charges my MacBook Pro when connecting to the monitor via usb-c. Especially, Ergo Stand is perfect for me to use it. I can move the monitor where I want to put. However, if there is a remote controller like a TV, it would be the most perfect for me. Since I bought it, it makes me feel uncomfortable to use the function key under the monitor.

This makes a great monitor for my work-from-home setup. I have a desk with limited space, and having an adjustable stand integrated into the monitor frees up a lot of my desktop. What's more, managing cables is super easy! The monitor's own cables route through the stand itself, and I can use the built-in USB ports for my microphone and document camera. Now I just need to plug in one USB-C cable when I sit down to work or switch laptops. My only complaints are that it has a lower resolution than my 4K Dell laptop screen and that the color does not quite match the Mac I use for work.

The monitor mount is great; durable, and easy to set up. The colors and brightness are also great. It comes with a really big power supply to support charging a computer through the USB C port. I had varied luck with the USB C port. My person gaming laptop (which does not charge via USB C) had no issues connecting to the monitor with USB C. My work laptop (which does charge via USB C) was only able to charge and I was not able to get it to connect. After talking to support, it may be functionality blocked by the company I work with. I was able to use the USB ports on the back for most items I plugged in. One external hard drive would work but another would not. Mouse and keyboard worked with no issues. I was also able to charge my phone via the USB C port on the computer. The monitor generated a pop-up message when I switched to 75hz from 60hz saying it is not the recommended setting, although it appears to operate fine at 75hz. Movies are fine on the monitor, also had no big issues with video games. The speakers are good. They are less hallow sounding than many monitor speakers. All in all, it is a decent monitor, but if you are wanting to use it to replace a docking station, check with your IT department first.

As many of us working from home due to COVID, I needed another monitor to complete my two monitor setup (similar to work). I got this LG primarily for it's Ergo function and USB-C input. Design - There is not much stands out from design perspective. The plastic bezel and frame feels cheap for the price of this monitor but it works. The monitor is also thick, but that's not a deal breaker. The single joystick like menu is well laid out and I prefer it over multi-button setup. Screen - The IPS screen was not as vivid as expected from the start but after turning on HDR and changing the color settings, it is absolutely beautiful. Make sure you understand that this is QHD monitor so the fonts would be rather small if you sit too far away from your computer. Function - The main reason for my purchase of this monitor - the Ergo stand works beautifully. The "stand" is heavy and well designed and it moves monitor up/down, close/ away as well as tilt very well and offers good resistance. If you have sit/stand desk like me, the desk would wobble slightly at heights due to higher center of gravity. I also was able to connect the monitor to my work laptop using USB-C and it charges the laptop just fine. This is however where my only disappointment for the monitor comes from. The monitor has multiple inputs including HDMI, USB-C, Display port and i was able to connect my wireless mouse/keyboard directly to monitor to eliminate my HUB. However it does not have input pass-through so if I want to add a monitor, I would have to connect it directly to my laptop or add back my USB-C Hub. If LG can figure out how to accomplish this, it would make monitor more appealing by removing cost of additional USB-C Hub. On more positive note, the USB-A ports seems to be powered, so I was able to connect my Firestick 4K to one of the HDMI input and can switch to it when I am done with work and enjoy some Netflix. Due to odd Display resolution though, Firestick is stuck at 1080P (most likely Firestick issue). The cable management is also well done and I love that wires are not dangling all over the place on back of my monitor. The speakers on monitor works well for occasional Youtube or Netflix at close range but I have to use my laptop for audio conferences since it does not have Microphone.(Come on LG!).

Summary: 1.Bought this monitor on day one to go with my new vari desk. Due to the extra long power cable, this goes perfectly with heigh adjustable set ups without having the power brick hang off the ground when in a standing position. Additionally you can really get the height adjusted in a way that does doesn't require you to look down at your monitor (huge for those with neck and back issues like myself or for those who work long hours. Pros: 1. Another plus is that it's surprisingly good for gaming. I play esports games at a (semi)competitive level and the 5ms response time isn't terribly noticeable in esports games when compared to my 1ms monitors (that and freesync is nice). The (somewhat weak) 350 nit HDR(n't) feature is also an added bonus as long as you don't have any big HDR expectations. Fr tho; why are we labeling 350 nit devices HDR? Just because it can accept an HDR signal doesn't make it HDR. 2. Screen real-estate. I use this monitor in a vertical position for work which is super helpful. I frequently have 4-6 windows open on my screen at once, and the vertical space is great for writing and proofing code. 3. The other thing I really like is the stand (obviously). At first glance this monitor might seem like an expensive purchase, but honestly try and find a decent monitor and pair it with a proper Vesa monitor arm. It gets hella expensive real quick, so keeping that in mind, this monitor is a pretty solid value. Cons: 1. The only reason I knocked off a star was for the color profile. I use both a Razer Blade and Macbook Pro for my WFH setup and while the color profile looks good on windows, everything looks so orange on Mac OS. I'm still trying to sort this out, but it's super annoying the have the color inconsistency across platforms. If you need color accuracy for work and switch between platforms, don't buy this thing. 2. The cable management system in the back of the monitor can only hold thin cables. Otherwise it starts to bow out. I have a web cam, power cable and display port cable running through it and it's really tight (speaking of which, this monitor doesn't come with a display port cable with is a mild annoyance for the price). 3. Wobble (not really a con). For those of you that saw the Short Circuit review of the 32 inch version of this monitor you'll probably be concerned about the wobble of the monitor. Honestly the 27inch version really doesn't have an issue with this IMO, probably just the 32 inch version. 4. USB C power delivery. This monitor can be run via one USB C cable (included in the box) with provides something like 60watts of PD. Sounds great on paper (especially since I have to laptops that can be charged via USB C and the monitor even has built in speakers for conference calls). But then you realize that the new Macbook requires 96watts and the new Razer Blade stealth something like 100watts. Right now I have my monitor plugged into an external TB3 dock to compensate for this.
