I haven't had a real chance to give it a good spin just yet but it has so far performed to my satisfaction. It fits in my suitcase better than a deep rotalux and isn't a sail like other softboxes would be. I mainly purchased it to use outside in wind or calm and its size for me was a compromise in softness vs portability. Super solid and well made like (most of at least) Elinchrom products and I know that it is specifically designed for their lights.
