We've had this monitor for awhile and it is great for Video Editing as you get so much space for your timeline. We have several throughout our office and they work magnificently with no issues so far.

I purchased this with hopes of being able to view the output from a Mac Mini (acquired in 2014) and a Windows laptop simultaneously. It has not worked out very well. I suspect because of the age of the Mini, I can not get decent screen appearance and text appears drawn out and distorted. I've tried every screen setting which the monitor will allow with this computer. The windows laptop is better, perhaps because it is newer. The PBP feature is useless. Neither computer screen is good and I can not figure out how to increase the size of either. The owners manual (which took me a long time to find on the LG web site) is no help. The joystick controller on the monitor is very difficult and tedious to use and the menu options are very limited and not very helpful. I also was led to believe from the description of the monitor that you could use the LG "Screen Split" technology. It does not seem to apply to the PBP option, and it does not work on the Mini at all. I have downloaded all of the updates and drivers available on the LG web site to the Mini, and they are basically useless. All in all, I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Bought this monitor due to needing more screen real estate for Computer Science Coursework at my University. So far it is perfect without LG's dual controller. The dual controller for some reason does not like my MacBook Pro I still have to figure it out.

Bought it for my HAM station as an upgrade to 24" dell monitor. It made a difference. I was initially planning to install a second monitor, but this replacement solved my problem with screen real estate. Image quality is great, the size is not too big for pixels become too visible; all in all, great addition to my HAM shack.

Instead of getting two separate monitors I decided to get this extra wide screen from LG. I am very happy with my decision. Picture quality is excellent. I love the extra wide screen which allows me to work on two Excel Worksheets at a time. Watching movies and gaming is incredible on the monitor. The stand that supports the monitor is good and the screen fits perfectly on my desk. The only drawback is it does not have a USB outlet. I had to purchase a separate 4 port USB hub so I had connections for my keyboard, mouse and other miscellaneous.

I have been using this monitor for a while for both Mac and Windows development, and the display quality is great. However, the software/driver does not have sufficient features for making it easy to switch between computers/inputs.

Overall great monitor for the money. Only negative was the ability to consistently resurrect the monitor from a sleep phase in the computer. Many times, I have to force it to come out of sleep.

Needed a monitor that would adjust ergonomically, and go from 2 monitors to one. The monitor allows me to compare multiple documents at once, and even split screen when needed. The color and clarity are good in all light conditions.

This the first LARGE monitor I've owned. It's like having two monitors in one. Ican have full images open at the same time and enjoy the normal size of each. I'd definitely reccomend this monitor to anyone wanting to upgrade their computing experience.

I am very happy I have now discovered this ultra wide screen. It takes up less space than two screen and can actually fit three windows easily with the delivered app. Great monitor.

My wife got me this for Christmas which was a total surprise but am so glad she did. I love having the equivalent of two monitors in one. I have a windows 10 and Mac mini connected most of the time and the ability to use one mouse and keyboard is AWESOME!!!! I have used this on WebEx sessions and having two screens displaying at the same time is great. The only thing I think good possibly make this better is to have the built in mic and speakers be Bluetooth compatible so I could use my headset when on a WebEx. It was very easy to mount to the wall. I can't say enough about this monitor. Homerun by LG.

Bought it for my wife who is a heavy user of Excel spreadsheets. She loves it, it really helps with boosting her productivity because of the fact of how many columns are visible. It has some really great features especially the software the manage windows for such a large area. Now Win 10 has a pretty cool control feature for managing multiple windows but LG's software is great too. I do find that the color is slightly on the warm side.

I bought this monitor to use an external display for my MacBook Pro. My primary use cases are software development, browsing, and email/excel. Due to the lower resolution (standard hd) the monitor doesn’t offer additional realestate, rather the text is just larger. I wound up returning and purchasing a 34UC80-B which has qhd resolution.

It's been almost a month now and I wish I had bought this earlier. I had my doubts about 1080p resolution on a 34" monitor, infamous backlight bleeds on ips monitors and some other small stuff but I don't feel any pixelation. There is a really small backlight bleed at the lower frame near the lg logo but it is really small and not noticeable enough to bother with getting a replacement. Overall I am very happy with the colors. Watching movies on an 34" ultrawide is just AMAZING. I have the monitor mounted on an arm that has the reach to swing from my desk to my bed and now all I do is watch movies one after an other. I used to frequently go to the movies but since I get this beast I don't feel the need to. Another big plus is the multitasking with LGs onscreen controls, which lets you seamlessly divide your screen into multiple parts which gives you so much space and freedom. Definitely a must-buy! There are lots of LG 34" ultrawide variations with loads of different specs, just browse them and get one that meets your needs, like 144hz refresh rate, higher brightness levels, mounting, etc or just get a simple 34" ultrawide just to multitask and watch movies the way they are meant to and pay less.

I've had this monitor now for most of 2017 and it's been a solid monitor. The only problem with this monitor is the software for it, screws up everytime you plug in the HDMI cable, or when you put your computer into sleep mode and open it up all the applications that are on default on a different screen end up all being moved over to this monitor. I don't have this monitor as default it is for design only. Great picture, sound isn't to bad either.

The monitor has a great view en colors. You're able to use two or three program screens, at he same time. A 4k monitor for your computer at home, is'nt necessary.

Purchased this over a month back, and waited to see if it still works as good as the day I bought it before posting a review. Happy to say I remain a very happy and satisfied customer, with no issues to report. Using this of a mixture of gaming (FPS/TPS and action-RPG) and movie watching, and it works beautifully and looks great.

I have primarily bought this work work. As a developer I need to fit to a screen a lot of things to speed up my work. Having a 34" monitor I cannot say how much easier my work become. At the same time I occasionally play some games like Dota2 and league of legends. I can say only positive words about this screen when it comes to basic gaming. I am sure this wouldn't be the greatest screen for highest level of gaming, but I can say for the price it is really a best buy in that category of 34" ultra wide screen market

I have had this monitor for several months. I have a second monitor but almost don't need it because of the widescreen. The only down side is the on/off switch. To turn it off you must hold the switch in for several seconds. You can turn it on with just a quick click but not off.
