Great piano, the action is pretty realistic, the only dowside is that you can see soma big gap between some key. I believe this still happens in most digital pianos.

Roland FP-30 is good if you are looking for an 88 key weighted piano but for my kid (beginner), we now feel that we could have gone with something else. It was due to his music school we went with 88 key.

Good sound and reasonable price. But volume control is inconvenient.

The Roland FP-30 is a quality entry-level keyboard. The keys have great feel—just like a piano. And it can sound like many different instruments. The speakers have great range and sound quality, and it’s easily synced, via Bluetooth or cable, to amps and audio equipment. A terrific piece of technology for the price. And Adorama packed it and its accompanying equipment expertly and delivered it to the Berkshires in one day. Adorama is amazing and we are customers for life.

The piano is awesome. However, they neglected to mention the pedals were on back order before letting me purchase. It's been a month since I paid and the pedals aren't even back in stock yet. Would've very much liked to know when ordering about the situation. I might have purchased for a higher price somewhere else if I knew it was going to take this long for the complete package to arrive.

It is just great. Worth for the money. Do not need to buy piano to teach my girl. It is better than piano.

How much do you want to spend on a piano? If you want something that feels real and sounds pretty real - get this one. Obviously there are better models with more features. But who needs those unless you are a professional? And if you're a professional, you should be looking at $1,000+ pianos, not this one. I went with this piano because it's digital - and so in my apartment I can play late at night, without bothering my neighbors. During the day, I prefer the piano's own speakers over the headphones, because the speakers are actually very good quality and sound more like a real piano than the headphones. The feel is absolutely fantastic though. Seriously. Feels just like a grand piano. (and is also adjustable if you want) I guess my point is: this piano is a surprisingly good option.

I like everything about this digital piano except for the fact that apparently it uses what is termed stretch tuning. To my ear this type of tuning sometimes sounds harsh or even out of tune when multi note left and right hand harmonies are played I also have a Yamaha DGX 660 which samples each individual note for their sound chip and this sounds much cleaner to me. I am very pleased with the purchase from Adorama, but if you are considering this unit you might want to try playing it in person before ordering it. The bottom like is that overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Nice weight to the keys and very sturdy design. At least to my untrained ear it sounds great too!

i wasn't sure of this purchase since it was my first, but my friend assured me if he had known the feel and sound was equivalent to an acoustic, this would have been his purchase over the more expensive yamaha dgx-650 he recently purchased.

I play advanced classical piano. At first the touch seemed heavy, but after adjusting the sensitivity level, things are fine. I like the finishes of the keys. The sound is great although it is a bit toward the pop sound. Overall, it is an excellent value, especially if you pick it up on sale. Now, I am shopping for a stand and 3-pedal bar.

After playing both the P125 (which I recommend) and the FP30 (which I also recommend) I chose the FP30 because the ivory feel and the hammer action felt more closely to a real piano. Don't overthink this, when purchasing a digital piano you will not find anything that comes close. Looking back I wouldn't mind getting the P125 because the furnished set often goes on sale. I ended up getting the FP 30 furnished set but it did end up being quite expensive. In conclusion both are great DIGITAL pianos, and neither will give you a true real piano feel.

I initially did not like this keyboard, but it has grown on me. My main issues are the speakers facing downwards. The sound that comes out sounds a little muffled? I use the keyboard with headphones 90% of the time and it does sound better with headphones. I personally can’t use it without headphone since the sound that comes out the speakers sound weird to me. As for key feel. This is my first weighted keyboard and It felt really heavy at first, but after a week of playing they feel soft to me now. Overall this is a good keyboard if you get it on sale. My box was damaged in shipping, but the keyboard seems to be fine.

I purchased this keyboard for our church band. All we needed was a weighted-key keyboard with decent piano voices. This piano is perfect. Easy to set up, simple to use, and has the capability of advanced features through the Piano Partner 2 app. I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a solid keyboard at a reasonable price.

SO we had purchased a Williams Allegro when my young sons started taking piano. Served well for the first few years but does not have ideal feel and dynamics.Purchased a Casio CGP-700 for our oldest (also a pretty nice device) which yielded a lot more practicing. But our middle boy has proven to be the real gem of a player and was suggested we purchase a Standard piano. Not really an option in our home. We struggled until we found this unit on sale here at Adorama. He LOVES the piano. The feel and sound. From a playing standpoint it is the best device in the house. Cannot recommend enough for a small excellent performing device in the sub $ And on sale at Adorama it was a done deal.

The weighted keys are very realistic and true to an acoustic piano. Quite possibly the next best thing to a grand piano, but on a budget. The synth sounds are very realistic and rich. I've heard some people say that the upper notes sound "metallic", and while I can sense what they mean, it's not bothersome to me. An acoustic piano has a similar metallic ring in the upper registers. Roland offers their mobile app (Piano Partner 2) which works fine with the FP-30. The interface isn't the greatest, but it's functional and gives you an idea what can be done with a mobile app connected to the piano. The included songs are a treat. I enjoy listening to the FP-30 recreate the performances.

I debated between Roland FP-40 and Yamaha 110 for a while, since Adorama provided a deal so I went for Roland FP-40. Sound effect is very good. Really like it!

I've been playing for over twenty years, and I've tried out many keyboards in my time. The sleek design and real, sensitive weighted feel of this keyboard is worth every penny.
