I bought this because I like the shape of it. It saves a lot of floor space. But for sound, I wasn't that impressed compared to the usual square subwoofer. I mean it sounds good, but it lacks the deep bass sound that a square unit has. But if you are looking for something that sounds decent and saves you some space, then this is what you need.

Was pretty surprised how good it sounds for such a small package. Ended up replacing one huge 12" sub with two 8", and really like the sound, overall better.

This sub is both attractive and effective, which is a shock considering how affordable it is. We put it under our couch for now for added bass during movies, but may move it to a corner if the soundstage is lacking. I'm far from an audiophile, but this sub added a good balance to bass for our system.

Pretty good base, more than enough for my sizeable room. Packs a thump! I have it connected to sound bar with included cable. Auto mode seems to work fine. Note though that size is pretty big, good part is it is not deep and saves on floor space.

Excellent product at an excellent price. The output is great, and it's a lot more visually appealing and less obtrusive than most other subwoofers. However, for my specific application, it's hidden behind my elevated, corner tv setup resting on top of a few shelf brackets I installed on the wall. It's slim profile makes it very versatile in terms of placement. I was going to buy a subwoofer labeled as wall-mountable, But found this Jamo to be more practical since the woofer fires outward, and the controls would be accessible since they are on the bottom of the unit.

This thing is great- paired with Wharfedale diamond 11.2s. Gets more than loud enough for my office setup. For the price, it’s a no-brainer. Took off a star because it arrived with cosmetic damage.

Bought two at the price Adorama was offering. What a deal! These slim form factor subs pack a punch, and fill the room with nice low frequencies. I wish the they crossed over at a lower freq., but alas at 8inch, these really do shine.

I bought this subwoofer with less expectations. It actually beat my expectations. I wanted a narrow woofer for to space issues. Nice thing, it came with the needed wire to connect to your reciever. In my previous purchase of expensive subwoofer (Klipsch), I didn't get the cable. This is a nice gesture. Overall I am happy to raise the bass and I could see the audio difference. I am using this in my living room for daily TV watching. On a side note, this woofer got minor scratches on shipping, which adorama addressed with partial refund

Recently remodeled our media room and wanted surround sound but didn't have the space for large speakers. The Jamo S 808 SUB 100W 8" Subwoofer was the perfect choice. It's slim and sleek with the power, RCA connector and volume controls all located on the bottom of the unit. This helps hid all the wires and allows you to place the speaker closer to a wall or furniture. The sound is very impressive and full which is surprising given the 8" speaker. Easy to setup and connect to my receiver and looks great. It's setup with 2 pairs of Jamo 8.5CS 8" 2-Way In-Ceiling Speakers for front and rear sound. The combination is outstanding and I'm ver pleased with my purchase as well as the service from Adorama.

I still wish I could get a subwoofer that's a bit smaller for less than many hundreds of dollars for my small apartment but so far I'm very happy with this subwoofer. I would recommend getting a proper subwoofer cable instead of the RCA cable that comes with it because that definitely improved performance. I wish the settings weren't on the bottom, that gets a bit tiresome for adjustments. I use this turned down extremely low just so I can hear the basslines on my records at a normal listening volume and it has quite a kick. I can't imagine if I turned it up all the way.

I have a floating shelf in the living room and I had to compromise with the size of the subwoofer. I found this to be able to fit under neath it and the sounds is great for the size. It has comes in a modern style.

This sub is a nice size and shape that makes is versatile to place in a number of places. Pretty full sound with a wide range for cross-over frequency selection. it lacks punch, but given the size, it has an acceptable trade-off. I purchased this sub on sale, which made it a good value.

Its good and compact. Does the job nicely, little feedback when the receiver is powered off, but its easy to turn on and off the power to the sub when not in use.
