Fun & Beautiful
Beautiful guitar. It's a hoot to play. The Bigsby adds some complexity to tuning, but I'm learning to deal with it. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hollow body.

Beautiful guitar
Guitar was delivered in a secure package that came undamaged.
However, inside the box that my guitar came in, a boxcutter was left inside the box. Not sure if this was someone from Gretsch doing inspection or someone from Adorama.
Luckily, there were no damages upon initial inspection

GREAT GUITAR for the $$$$
Can't beat the sound and feel of this Guitar for the money. Played many guitars over 35 yrs and this is scuh a bargain.
You may have to take it in and get it properly set up. Mine certainly had a few issues. Nut, neck and bridge needed adjustment. Made a huge difference. Small price to pay to make this baby sing and feel FAB!!

A sweet guitar to look at and to play.
Exceptional price after coupon. Guitar is beautifully made and plays well. The bridge required adjustment to eliminate bass strings buzzing and needs a new pickup selector switch. Otherwise plays comfortably and sounds great.

Amazing Guitar
This guitar is beautiful. It plays like butter. Tones are great. Action is fantastic. Nice setup out of the box. Change the strings and you are good to go.

Great Instrument and amazing value
Incredible value. Guitar has a really nice, guality feel. The sound is also very impressive, rich tone you don’t expect from $ guitar. Definitely worth the money. Displaying it proudly as part of my collection:)

Amazing guitar for the price
Amazing guitar for the money I spent. I wasn't even that interested in a hollow body or a Gretsch but at this price point I couldn't resist and I'm glad I took the bait, now it's one of my favorites. Superb fit and finish, not to mention the striking paint job.

Great Guitar at a Great Price
I just received my 5420T yesterday. So far, I'm very pleased. It came with the intonation set great. I've heard this could be an issue with the Korean made models. Not so in my case. The neck plays great. There are some scratchy sounds when using the pickup selector. This may work itself out over time or it may need to be spray-cleaned with an electronics cleaner. Overall, I'm very pleased. I love the Aspen Green color. It' looks even better in real life than the pictures.

Hard to beat for the money
This is an amazing guitar - the look, the tone, the vibe - it's all there! you can not buy a cooler looking or sounding guitar for the money. Adorama is a great place to buy one too - mine arrived setup quite well and needed nothing right out of the box.

Great Guitar
For the money this is really a nice guitar. I have a Ibanez hollow body but wanted a Gretsch for a while. I set up all my electric guitars and this one came out of the box pretty much spot on. This was a first for me. Action is great along with playability. Would definitely purchase again.

Great guitar that packs a big punch for the price
I got this guitar on sale but had been eyeing it for years. I own several Fenders (Teles and Strats) and this guitar is a fantastic compliment at an affordable price. The three different pickup positions offer a varied sound but all of them very full and warm. The Bigsby tremlow bar is much better than a standard Strat Whammy in my opinion.
