What a disaster attempting to load legal in tray 2. It leaves the tray sticking out the front of the printer, just waiting to cause a paper jam because this printer feeds paper from the back of the tray. Never seen this in any HP design, and it totally defeats our intended use of this printer printing solely legal. Thought I would add a tray 3 to mitigate the issue, but the optional tray is designed exactly the same as the included tray.

The tray was easy to install. We bought the extra tray because it seemed we were constantly filling the paper tray. This has been a timesaver.

Scarest part is aligning install. 1st align the post on right side then lower left side to est connections. I use this tray daily. Essential for multiple size media

I had purchased the HP M607A from MicroCenter for my office. They did not sell the paper trays. It was nice that the tray arrived so quickly from HP. The printer came with a toner. That did not work, and so we have limited use of the printer or tray, while the toner arrives.

The tray and the M608 printer it goes with are not usable to us because the printer does not work with our W2 paper. The M602 was better.

I installed the tray last week and it works great. Now I don't have to get up to switch from letter to legal size paper. I had thought that I needed to buy another printer but my IT person told me to buy the tray. Saved some money!

This extra tray is well worth the money as it provides an additional holder for stationary or whatever special paper you need.

I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order arrived. The tray is super easy to install, just literally set the printer on top of it and turn it off and back on. I use it to hold 8.5x11 paper and the other tray to hold photo paper and it works well. The only thing I don't like is that the 2nd tray only works with regular paper or thin paper, it won't work with photo paper or cardstock. But for my needs it does what I need it to.

This tray can only take bond paper - no photo paper. And it must be tray 2. So if you want to keep photo paper in tray 1 and bond in tray 2, Windows printer driver is fine, just tell it to use tray 2. But IOS devices don't like being told which tray to use. So it will take some fiddling to take full advantage.

When setting up tray 2 for legal the tray sticks out because the printer pulls from the rear of the printer, this is a major design flaw.

The 2nd tray is excellent in every way. Easy to install (Took longer to get out of box than to install). Wish HP had the extra tray included with the printer for a few dollars more.
