Do I have to have instant ink? Never told that printer would not double side. Not anywhere close to what I had.

HP 7155 noty a great replacement for HP Photosmart C6280

I got charged contstantly, barely used my printer, and only received a couple of cartridges. When I tried to cancel, you can't do it on their horrible Instant Ink website. Forget calling to cancel - 30 wait twice. They still try to charge my credit card 1x month. Disreputable experience from a company I once trusted.

Do not sign up for Instant Ink

I enrolled in the printer program so orders can be shipped to your house when you run low on ink. Always a problem getting the ink when needed. Cancelled program and bought my own cartridge from Best Buy and now my printer says I cannot print because I am not enrolled in the program and my cartridge ?is not compatible.? Tried to reach customer service but because my printer is out of warranty, I would have to pay $20 to speak to someone. Horrible customer service. Horrible product. Will never buy an HP product again.

Horrible Service

This printer is just like my previous HP printer except that I miss the auto arm that extended when I print. This one just spits the paper on the floor unless I get up to extend the stop arm. Also I am still paying for my previous printer's (which has quit working) auto ink plan and my carry over pages were never transferred to my new printer. Somehow replacing the printer process did not work.

Ok for the price.

I have had this printer and I really love it. A very angry person in my house destroyed
it, and I was hoping to buy another one just like it. I was sad when I saw that this printer had been discontinued.

An excellent home use printer for a reasonable price

It was easy to setup except for the bluetooth. We have not been able to enable bluetooth and have not found information on the HP site helpful.

PDF format is commonly used for today's communication use; consequently, I was surprised that the scanner did not recognize PDF as a format to save a document in. I was also surprised at how fast my black ink cartridge got used up. The few pictures I printed turned out good. Setup was easy and quick.

Scanner Issue

I have a MacBook Air which I was told by the Best Buy was incompatible with the item. It printed one time skipping a page!!!

I like my new printer 7155 All-in-one printer. I was lead to my new purchase because when using HP instant ink they don't allow for those who do not keep their printer on full time. My previous printer and HP4630 worked great unless you didn't do much printing. The black cartridge would gunk up and HP instant ink would not readily send you a new cartridge which 100% of the time fixed my problem. So it was easier to just buy a new printer. Hoping I am not in the same boat with this one.

I was disappointed that it did not have a fax feature with this printer. Also it has a hard time picking up photo paper and it jams easily. It does copy paper fine but it doesn't do photo paper even though I use HP brand.

Im still settling into my new place and my new printer but so far, what little Ive usd it, its great. I had an HP printer awhile back and really loved it. No compldints.

Just brought this printer not even a month and it's printing with white lines I have not used it in 3 weeks.

Don't buy

I have been fussing with this for weeks , I cannot get the wireless to work. Instructions are confusing and no matter which of several fixes I try it doesnt work. Setting it up and connecting to computer was easy and printing seems fine. Just cant get wireless connection to order the instant ink.

OK , nice but

After having had a good experience with a previous HP Envy printer, I decided to purchase the 7155, as it seemed to have all of what I wanted in a home office printer. So far, I'm very pleased with this printer. I print Word docs, PDF's and photos, and it performs well on all of them. Remote printing from my phone is seamless. The Instant Ink program is excellent.

NEED AUOTOFEED - PRINTS AND SCANS WELL

It's OK, sort of. It's noisy. And the ink cartridges I'm getting from HP are terrible, they don't last very long, but I guess it doesn't have as much ink since it's promotional. However the last thing I printed came out very, very light. This was after I printed a color copy. I have hardly used the cartridges.

Well......

My new hp laptop couldn't talk "scan" with my old hp printer from back in maybe 2010 so I replaced it with an hp Envy Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer w/4 months free ink - which must be the ink cartridges that came with the printer. Better design in the operation of the lid/opening to replace ink cartridges . . . but not better in loading paper. I do a lot of double-sided music printing and slipping the first printed side back into the paper feeder is awkward . . . I have to remove the printed paper receiver to clear access and reinsert the first printed side to feed it in and print the second side. Operation of the lid in placing paper on the glass to be copied/scanned is much better with hinges that seem both better designed and likely to last longer - though I can't complain about a printer that made it through a decade of home printing/scanning/copying.
