i needed a bigger backpack for school than what i currently have. i ordered the 17 L backpack because i am a fairly small woman and it said it fits up to 16" laptop. It absolutely does not fit even a 15" laptop. i'm so crushed because otherwise it's really great, but i read on other reviews how difficult the return policy is, so it's definitely frustrating to think i will be going through this process, when i thought i had found the best pack for my needs!

I really don't like the material it attracks too much lint. Plus it really doesn't feel right having 1 bottle holder and that the position on how it opens is just one sided for the camera side. It should be both sides not just one side. The only positive thing about this bag is the organization is pretty good just wish it could go in either side for the camera openings.

Seriously disappointed in this backpack. The look is cool. But the camera inner bag doesn't fit well with the mount in the bag. You have to stretch really really hard to attach it. Definitely not by design but a manufacture flaw. Furthermore, it was advertised to be waterproof. But the waterproof ability lost in about a week. Not sure if I got a lemon product or something.

This pack a is couple years old for me now. A perfect everyday carry pack that doesn't scream camera bag. It has a subdued sleek appearance which is perfect for my needs as a military photographer

Things I like: 1) Easily accessible water bottle holder on the outside. 2) can access the front pocket without having to take fully off, I like being able to swing it around on my shoulder to grab my ID or something like that. 3) I like the organizational options. However, if you use the organizational pockets, it severely limits the available space in the computer and main compartments. My feedback is similar to many others with my two main complaints: 1) EVERYTHING sticks to it. hair, lint, and its hard to get off. Can't just brush it off, pretty much have to use a lint roller 2) You can never really use all of the compartments. If the computer section is full (laptop, mouse, charger) it severely restricts how much you can put in the main compartment. If the main compartment is at all full, its very hard to get a computer in and out. The bag doesn't have any stretch, if you have things in pockets at the top, it is completely in the way if you have a book/notebook type thing in the same compartment it is hard to get out. Overall I don't mind it as a bag to throw my laptop in when I'm going to a coffee shop to work or something, but I don't really like it for work travel. Unfortunately for the price I don't think it is worth such limited functionality. My final complaint is on me, because I didn't realize how much I would want it until I didn't have it, but it is impossible to get it to stand up. Even leaning against a table or something it just falls over. Not great for traveling as I had hoped.

Haven't used it for too long, but feels great at first sight. Durable design, a very appealing and sleek appearance, and I can fit all my university everyday carry. Comfortable as well, with some weight to it (a good amount, not too much).

I am a documentary cinematographer and so I travel a ton for work. I was looking for a bag that I could travel with but also one that protected my personal camera equipment and made it easily accessible. I watched and read all the reviews and this looked like the bag for the job. I was wrong. I so much regret buying this bag. I bought the bag and all the inserts. It's a mediocre camera bag at best if you are just using the bag and camera insert. If you want to put anything else in the bag it starts to get bulky really fast. Even taking the camera insert out and using it as a regular bag, it gets bulky fast. And by bulky I mean I can't fit much in there with out having to really cram it. It's hard to get stuff in and out. I normally travel with an iPad, a book or two, the tech pouch that goes with the bag, the camera insert with camera and lenses, and small, light hoodie, sunglasses, sunscreen and the battery pouch that also goes with the bag. And maybe a few snacks. That is too much for this bag. My books get bent going in and out of the bag. It's a pain trying to get anything out of the pockets and the luggage pass through doesn't even work because the bag is so packed. I really wish I hadn't had spent the money on this bag. I'd much sooner go back to a regular backpack and wrapping my gear in shirts. The only thing I actually enjoy about this bag is the tech pouch and the battery pouch were aren't even a part of the bag. The design of the bag as far as pockets and compartments is all pretty cool and if I was able to easily access them that would have been great. Unfortunately I will probably keep using this bag until I can find a different one and just have to absorb the cost of this one because I doubt it will resell used online. It was almost a great bag.

I've had this bag for a few months now. Great build quality and it is a nice design. Many useful pockets. But the biggest irk for me is that this bag is a huge dust/lint magnet. A day out with an orange cotton shirt left the backpack entirely covered in orange lint after a few hours. Likely some sort of static issue with the backpack fabric. Even normal use it will gather random lint and I find myself lint rolling the bag after a week or two.

Was everything I hoped it to be with amazing quality and long lasting feel. The camera insert fits in nicely and feels protective. Only thing I would've wished for is some straps to use the water bottle holder for tripods.

The perfect slim backpack. The 17L version fits everything I need- Macbook Pro, charger, gym clothes (not shoes), big headphones, lunch, water bottle, notebook, with a little room to spare. My favorite part is that it has a really small profile, so I don't feel weighed down by it and it doesn't feel like a pain to carry around. It fits in the small gym lockers and the vibrant red color is great for being visible when bike commuting. Very thoughtful design. My only critique is that I wish it came with instructions on how to use the cross body strap. It's a unique design and I haven't taken the time to figure it out yet. The cross strap will definitely be needed for me, as the shoulder straps feel just ever so slightly too wide for my frame (I'm a 120lb female). In short, great for daily commuting. If you have a ton of books or larger objects, I'd go with the larger size.

I really like this bag but it is a tight fit with 16" MacBook Pro and a camera insert. Not much room for anything else. The water bottle pocket is huge. I would have loved that extra space in the main compartment. Would recommend for very light carriers.

The quality of this bag seems very good and I love the color! The issues that made me return the bag were that it cannot stand upright without falling over and also the luggage pass thru makes you turn the bag horizontal and choose btwn water bottle on the bottom or the zip access on the bottom. Ultimately I had to return the bag because of those issues and I also realized I need a slightly bigger bag. The only other thing is I didn't realize you have to pay for return shipping. It isn't a huge deal but I rarely have to do that with most companies so I felt it should be more clear on the site that returns aren't free.

Yo iba por el Fanny bag de M-TW y cuando vi este modelo no pensé dos veces por elegirla.

Great daypack for carrying camera gear when coupled with the camera cube inside. I use a larger backpack for travel, but wanted something I could wear around the city without looking too fancy / like there's expensive stuff inside. This strikes a good balance of functionality / features while still looking minimal. I also appreciate that it's not boxy, and can flatten when it's not completely full. (Also FWIW, the green color looks every so slightly darker in person than in the product shots - I like it!) One thing to note - I wouldn't recommend getting this as a travel bag for more than a day or two at a time. I do wish there was a bigger version, but even the 21L is about the size of a normal daypack.

I was really looking forward to the backpack and it was delivered to Germany within 1 week. the first impression was that the backpack doesn't attract much attention and was made very minimalistically. it's a shame that the quick access bag can only be opened from the left. pity that is limited to access

I honestly use this as a daily backpack than I do a camera bag and it's been excellent. I like that there are two pockets for my laptop and iPad -- a feature I don't usually see for small backpacks like this. I really appreciate how this small bag has such a minimal design but at the same time has so many pockets inside to keep me organized. The design of this book feels thoughtful.

I think the backpack is fairly well made. I cant fit quite as much as I'd like because of the shape and my big gripe is the front latch is over engineered and the shoulder straps are not comfortable at all. I haven't work for an extended period of time yet but I'm sure it won't take long to dig into my shoulders
