I would buy this product again.

I use the product in taking pictures of animals, kids, flowers, ect. It does not take very long to process the picture and you are ready to go again. This is the second one that I have purchased and using this one to take pictures for someone else.

Lexar Platinum II 1GB 80x compact Flash

It may not be the most expensive or the fastest, but for an advanced amatuer, it more then fits the bill, especially for the price. I've been using Lexar since I first started with digital [I had been using film camera's for 25 yrs] and I've been very pleased with the quality and speed. I have a Canon EOS 20d and it works great.Actually I have 3 1gig Lexar's and all are fine. And if I feel the need to upgrade to higher gig's I'll still stay with Lexar. "Why fix what aint broke"

Works great. Rapid & never a glitch

Never a problem. Use it all of the time unless I fill it to its large capacity. I always shoot at high resolution.

• Lexar's Platinum II memory cards provide photographers with performance levels capable of sustained rapid-fire shooting and full motion video, two of the most popular and sought after features in digital cameras. The Platinum II CompactFlash memory card is speed-rated at 80X, capable of a minimum sustained write speed of 12mb per second. • With Platinum II, consumers can confidently choose from a practical line of memory cards that will allow them to take advantage of the advanced features in their digital camera. • A minimum sustained speed-rating is a measurement of how quickly content can be written to the card. By speed-rating Lexars Platinum II line of cards - and performance testing each before they ship - Lexar is providing a higher level of confidence to the consumer during the flash memory buying process. • Rapid-fire shooting and video capture are two features that continue to move up the consumer photography priority list. High-speed cards, including those within Lexar's Platinum II line, are ideal for in-camera applications that require the user to write captured information to his or her card without interruption. • Lexar CompactFlash cards are individually speed-rated so you know the minimum sustained write speed capability of the card. We use the same rating system used by the CD-Rom industry, where data transfers at a rate of 1X equals 150 kilobytes (KB) per second. And the higher the speed rating, the faster your camera can write images to the memory card.
