The Panasonic PV GS500 features 3.1 Megapixel still image recording, with a 10x optical f1.6 zoom lens by Leica, a 700x digital zoom as well as Optical Image Stabilization.

To view and compose your favorite moment the Panasonic PV-GS500 offers a color viewfinder, with a 2.7 inch LCD display, plus joystick control for easy, one-finger navigation, and DV output (firewire) for digital connection to PCs, Infrared remote, a Secure Digital memory card slot and high-speed USB 2.0 interface, allowing for high quality full-motion video transfer.

The Panasonic PV-GS500 offers enhanced low-light sensitivity with it's bright F1.6 Leica lens and large 1/4.7 CCDs. The PV-GS500 features 4 mega-pixel still image recording, 12x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabilization, manual focus ring and Pro Cinema mode (30 fps progressive recording) for capturing images with film-like quality.
