Best budget passive bookshelf speakers but you also need a very good amplifier to drive it and a good sound source/media

The perfect upgrade to my surround sound!
I have the Kliptch Reference Surround Sound System from Costco and the rear speakers were the only spot a little lacking. Bought the stands from Rock Audio and jumped on these speakers the second they went half off. The clarity and frequency respone range has literally help me notice more instruments in movies, videogames and tv shows. Must buy for anybody intersted!

Sweet deal

Unexpected Clarity
The CLARITY is exactly what I was looking for but did not expect when I considered the RP600M. After connecting these I noticed one important thing: My smile grew larger. Thank You! Paired with a sub woofer and this system is more than enough. Highs, mids and lows and all present and accounted for. Love the price!

Great sound
Bought these in hopes that the reviews were accurate. They are!!!! Supreme sound, even without a sub. They need a sub if you want big bass. But these are really awesome speakers.

Beauty at a bargain

Makes You Smile
I debated between these RP-600Ms and the Triangle BRO3s for a long time. I have been a fan of accuracy and thought the BRO3s may have the edge there after poring through countless reviews and YouTube videos comparing the two.
These went on sale so I pulled the trigger. And I am so glad I did. My tendency toward the BRO3s was that I feared the Klipsch may sound too bright and forward. On the flip-side, the efficiency and high end (if not too bright) would get me more volume from the same power.
It turns out that these are far from too bright or harsh - they are clean, clear, and efficient. I feel like I have the best of both worlds with these RP-600Ms. And the bass is unreal for a 6 1/2" woofer. A friend was over listening to some heavy bass tracks and started looking to see where I had hidden the subwoofer. Nope, no subwoofer here!
To finish things off, these speakers are drop-dead gorgeous. The glossy piano black makes other piano black speaker I have almost look a little dull these are so glossy and deep. And the golden copper colored woofer is a confident show-off.
Listening and looking at these speakers...just makes me smile. Highly recommended.

Great speakers. Out of the box they sound really good. Would definitely recommend. Make sure you have ample space for them, they are big!

Looks with living sound
Great sounding speakers, the beauty of the piano gloss on the Klipsh RP-600M entices and brings out a pleasurable sound stage in your listening area of your home period, without making you feel distracted from the sound and looks. I'm recommend the pair to all my friends ??

I own these in piano black. They are a beautiful work of art. Stunning to look at. I personally like wide open, detail and precision in my music. Im not a neutral kind of person. I like to hear each note on an acoustic guitar. I like cymbals and crisp vocals. Punchy bass and clear synth, piano and crunchy distorted guitars. These deliver. I run a 2.1 system with a 10" Klipsch sub, so bass is no problem. A great U shaped speaker. I've always loved Klipsch so Im definitely partial. Their sound is not for everyone, but for someone that listens to 60's through early 90's rock, metal, disco, techno, folk and funk these will not disappoint.

Nice for a loud speaker
The Sound is OK... nothing out of the ordinary. That said Im driving these with a sony av receiver with 70 watts per channel. Played the radio for 72 hrs straight at 1/4 volume to "burn" them in. Watched a couple movies and they sound OK. In comparison Ive been using pioneer s-p 7200 for the last 30 years, the surrounds rotted out so thought I might upgrade. The pioneers would actually make you think someone was in the house talking to you.... These do not. Guess I will be installing new surrounds on the old pioneers.

highly recommended for small/medium rooms on a budget
Excellent bang for your buck speakers and can be tweaked for significant improvements. If you have a small or average size room these will be a choice that you will not regret. There's no reason that you can't use them in a larger room or as home theater mains but I wouldn't even consider that without a sub and 100w RMS.
