The fact that Adorama had one in stock was, Amazing, considering they were sold out everywhere in the U.S. I can't help but be thankful I could get the processor I needed to complete my build. love it, works like a beast, have it with my 3070 ti gpu and 32gb ram, i can do so much without my pc budging and it's so enthralling, im not used to such a stong pc ^^

Everything came as expected and was quite an easy install! No issues thus far! May get a better CPU fan but should be no issue. Will definitely look here again when new parts are needed.

Just so you know: I have yet to actually get the CPU, I?m giving it 5 stars because I know from other reviews that it?s good, but if you want to know how it holds up in performance, read a different review. This review is to warn anyone buying anything that will get shipped through the USPS facility in Teterboro NJ to beware. I have ordered two of these CPUs from two different stores, both shipping with USPS through that facility, and neither have moved after getting there. I did more research, and found that the facility has an average of 1.9 star reviews, with a lot of people reporting the same issue. Other parts of the computer that got shipped with USPS but didn?t get routed through that facility arrived on time or early, so it seems like an isolated issue. It would be nice if there was an option to ship with other carriers, but there isn?t, so the best option is to find one that ships from somewhere where it won?t go through New Jersey or downgrade to a 3600x that ships with UPS.

upgrading to this from my 6700k, it's day and night. Multitasking for work with 7 browsers running, multiple chat apps, office apps, and others + various background tasks had my skylake i7 running at 100% usage pretty much at all times... new cpu handles it all and usually between 20-30% usage... no more slow down waiting for apps to load up. Love it.

This process pulls. I actually placed this in a pull derby with my chevy silverado and this CPU won hands down. In all seriousness this CPU is perfect for AAA gaming, and when paired with a budget cooler (cooler master hyper 212 turbo) this CPU never gets above 68 C even while running maxed settings Doom Eternal. 10/10 this CPU makes is well worth the money.

It’s been doing amazing since I’ve gotten it! Miles above intel’s i5 processor so if you’re upgrading from that like I did, then your only problem, at the time of this review, would be a graphics card.
