The Power you Need
Great for all your high demanding light jobs (weddings, portrait photo shoots). Light, easy on the back and will give you 750 full powered pops! Cool eh? Just be aware if you use Sb-900s some units may require firmware updates by manufacturer. Go to quantum website to determine serial numbers affected (only for Sb-900s).

High Investment / Terribly Short Life
I bought 5 different models of professional rechargeable batteries from Quantum which include two Turbo SC, one Turbo 2X2, one Turbo Compact and one Turbo 3 within 18 months. After a few recharge, Turbo Compact died completely. Followed it was Turbo 2X2 the next. Both batteries were not able to recharge only after serveral usese. I really have a lot of complaints towards the quality of this Quantum professional rechargeable batteries. Actually, my case is when you look at the price I paid, it costed me over a hundred dollars per use in average for these two batteries.

Good product. Fast recycle time.
I purchased this becuase of the fast recycle time. With the other turbo products you are look at around 3 secs. That's too long. I needed something that was fast and this fit the bill.

Quantum Turbo 2x2
I use the Quantum Turbo 2x2 battery to power a Quantum T5d-R flash. This turbo unit provides a quick flash recycle rate. On the average about one second or less.

A Must Have Battery Pack
We shoot indoor sports where a flash is always needed. My Turbo 2x2 has flashed over 600 times per charge and still has power for more flashes. We use it to power the Nikon flash only, but it has the capability to power the camera too.

Good Battery
The first one I got was no good but [...] the next one works great you cant win all the time. This is a great system and I will always use it because I think there is none better.

Quantum Turbo 2x2 battery
I use my Turbo 2x2 Battery with an Nikon SB800 Speedlight to shoot night football games and also use it for weddings and portraits. I have never been able to run it dead shooting over 600 frames a few times and it is still around 1/2 power level.
I have previously used it when I was shooting with a Fuji S2 Pro to power the camera and Speedlight at the same time. It worked great for that as well.
The only problem I have found with my setup, and it is not the Turbo 2x2 is; The SB800 has to have good batteries (enough juice left to power up and cycle the SB800) for the Turbo 2x2 to provide power to the speedlight. Other than that issue it has worked great. I also use it with an old SB28 occasionally.
