The Nikon Coolpix 3200 offers 3.2 effective megapixels & incorporates Nikon's renowned enhanced image-processing technology, which gives photographers the freedom to shoot wider, crop in tighter & make larger prints, without having to sacrifice the quality of the image. With a maximum image size of 2048x1536 pixels, the Nikon Coolpix 3200 can produce sharp pristine images at sizes of up to 11x14-inches.
The Nikon Coolpix 3200 is a lean, mean, red-eye fighting machine. The camera employs a new LED light that minimizes red-eye in-camera & helps Auto Focus during low light situations. This is combined with Nikon's One-Touch Red-Eye Fix(TM), built into the NikonView 6.0 software, which instantly fixes red-eye within most red-eye digital photos with a simple click of a button. No more highlighting or hand painting.
No matter the type or size of a camera, great pictures begin with great lenses. More professionals choose Nikkor lenses than all other brands combined. That very same quality is built into the Nikkor lens of every Nikon Coolpix digital camera, including the Nikon Coolpix 3200. The camera has a zoom range of 38-115mm ( 35mm equivalent).
The new digital camera incorporates NikonView 6.0 photo management software to easily transfer, browse, edit, save & print photos. NikonView 6.0 offers the One-Touch Red-Eye Fix software, extensive one-button emailing options & an option to create online photo portfolio templates using HTML (Hyper Text Mark-up Language), which can easily be added to any personal Web site or page.
All Nikon Coolpix cameras include a host of exciting programs from ArcSoft(R) including PhotoImpression(TM), a fun manipulation package that allows users to edit, retouch or apply special effect to their photos; VideoImpression(TM) to edit & share QuickTime(TM) movies taken with the camera & Panorama Maker(TM), which lets users easily stitch together a number of images to create beautiful panoramic photos.
