One Con: The fan noise is a little louder than I was expecting. I am using it in a Recording environment so it is a factor. Also just hearing it is a little annoying. I am going to have to figure out a solution like building a DIY iso box or something. Totally unplugging the fan is not an option because I have 3 Universal Audio PCIe Octo Cards in it worth over $3800 with my state tax included, and do not want the risk of frying them or shortening their life. Each card has 8 DSP chips. Several Pros: This chasis just plain out works as stated. Thunderbolt 3 support and Plug and Play in Mac Catalina 10.15. I put the UA Octo PCIe cards in and they were recognized with zero issues. When I add new hardware it is never that easy. Instead of having three separate Universal Audio Octo TB3 Satellites taking up three power conditioning electrical outlets and studio space, I have one power connection for the Sonnet chasis. Very mobile, I can pick up the chasis and transport the 24 DSP chips to another studio or with my laptop to mixdown easily. Great product.
