Phottix AC module works well.

As described. Hard to say too much as the module works as intended. I had been powering the Indra 500 with its battery system but wanted the faster recycling time available with the AC module. AC also eliminated concern about exhausting a battery in a long shoot. Batteries are great for out of studio work but having the AC for studio work is a great option. Oddly, a few years ago when I first purchased the Indra 500, the AC module was not easily available.

The definition of flexibility

I have 3 of them and recently purchased AC adapters. Fantastic flexibility and have never had a failure to fire.

The Phottix Indra 500 AC Module seamlessly adapts Indra 500 TTL Studio Lights and compatible hot shoe flashes for use with an AC power source.

Faster Recycle Times
Utilizing the Indra 500 AC Module has the added benefit of reducing the Indra's 500's recycle time to 1.5 seconds at full power giving it the ability to keep up with even the most fast paced studio session.

Not Just For Indra 500 TTL
Now photographers can feed AC power directly into hot shoe flashes for lightning-fast recharge times, making battery power no longer an issue. Adapter cables are available for Phottix Mitros+ (SKU# PH01150), Canon (SKU# PH01151), Nikon (SKU# PH01152), and Sony (SKU# PH01153) hot shoe flashes.

Power Multiple Lights
Because the AC Power Module plugs directly into the Indra 500's power pack, users have the ability to power either: 1x-2x Indra 500 TTL heads, 1x-2x hot shoe flashes or 1x Indra 500 TTL head and 1x hot shoe flash at the same time.

100-240v Compatibility
The Indra 500 AC Module can handle input voltages from 100v to 240v so photographers working in multiple countries can use the mains as a power source wherever and whenever they need it.
