I used this printer for approximately 2 years. At first, it didn't seem to do too bad. Not great, but not as bad as my last one. However, after getting some time in with it, I quickly found that it has some pretty severe connectivity issues (at least in my case). A month or so into printing, I found that it could take sometimes as long as 20 minutes or better to print a singular page. This is not even mentioning the issue that occurs on occasion when you lose connection to the printer entirely. When this happens, you basically have to stop, turn the printer off, and back on again to reset the connection. Doesn't sound like a big deal, right? Well, when you do this, all of the pages in your queue are erased. For example, in my case, I had multiple occasions in which I spent hours preparing the printer to print 100-200 individual pages, for the printer to lose connection and the process having to be restarted all over again. Even when the pages you print aren't individual, but instead together in a document or article of some form, when the printer has a connectivity issue, whatever you are printing will automatically restart printing from the beginning (first page). Now keep in mind, these are some of the issues I encountered with the printer set up for a WIRELESS connection. I cannot speak for a wired connection, or even a simple USB connection. Nevertheless, the performance I saw from the wireless side was unsatisfactory. My internet isn't the greatest out there, but it certainly could be worse and should have handled the job at hand. However, what I have learned from this mistake is that, if a wired connection of any kind is possible, do it. Since then, I have upgraded, and so far I couldn't be happier. I hope this helps.

This is by far the worst printer I've ever owned. It never works! You have to turn it on and off three times to have your computer even recognize that it's there. Once it does start printing, it stops halfway through and you have to go through the process all over again. The warning lights blink constantly without explanation. I will never buy another HP product. This is absolute JUNK.

I work for a school and needed a printer mostly to print labels. I have had the printer for 4 years now so I felt I had used it enough to truly know if there were any long lasting issues. Because I work for a school I don't have admin privileges' so set up had a few issues that we had to resolve by getting our IT dept involved. Other than that this little printer has worked really well. I have had not problems with the wifi. The only other problem I have had that has proven to be trying on my patience is that sometimes depending on how much paper I have in my feeder, It won't pick up the paper to print and I have to feed individual sheets to get it to work. And I never know when the issue will occur. (usually when I am in a hurry and don't have time to fiddle with it). This could be an issue that is unique to my particular printer. Other than that I have had no problems and it has been a wonderful asset to my office.

Aside from the shoddy construction and some inexplicable stray lines that coincide with every print job...the printer does not stay connected to Wi-Fi and thus every time I want to print I have to turn it on and off in hopes that it will magically reconnect to the various computers on the network upon rebooting. A terrible device. I recognize it was not pricey...but I would have paid 5 times for a good printer. I chose this one because it was small and that was my top priority. Size.

I've purchased many HP printers over the years and after this experience, I'm not sure which was worse: the printer itself or the service I received. The installation of this printer consumed over 3 hours on my own then another 2 hours with technical support. When the printer connection was intermittent (since day 1) and tech support couldn't figure out what was happening, they refused to do anything about it! I wouldn't support anyone buying HP products after this terrible experience.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago. I could not set it up because it came with a 3 foot cord, and it should have been a 6 foot cord. I notified HP, and they said they would send a 6 foot cord. So far I have not received it.

I needed a all-around printer for the house. I run Linux mint, Windows 7, and Android phone,. The setup was easy and I'm able to print from all of my devices wirelessly! There's not a bunch of buttons to mess with just turn it on and go. I rarely ever print in color so this black and white laser printer was the way to go for me, and no more buying expensive inkjet cartridges every time I turn around. I expect one toner cartridge to last a long long time here. :)

I've had technical issues with the printer from the beginning (the printed pages have some black dots/lines on one margin). I've contacted HP Support several times and they didn't fix the problem.

I bought this model last month and I tried every instructions to setup the wireless printing, I tried different computers and locations and the wireless connection is not trustable and keep disconnecting and super slow.

I only print two or three times a week at most, and was tired of ink cartridges that dried out and couldn't be saved. I got this laser printer and now when I print, it fires up and prints perfectly, every time. A great small-footprint laser printer, very economical to operate.

Great little B&W printer. It provides a quick, sharp image from multiple devices via wireless connection. Very compact. Had a similar HP product many many years ago. It was great then as it is now. I grew weary of constantly fighting with cartridge replacements and the high cost of colour ink jet printers. In today's technical environment there is much less need for hard copy and when there is, this works great.

This is an excellent printer for the home office, where you don't have space for a huge printer. This thing fits perfectly in an ikea bookshelf, and is absolutely tiny for a laser printer. Bye bye ink cartridges! It is super quiet. And most impressively, super easy to connect and print from either a phone or computer. Most printers I'm used to are a pain to get going. They take a long time to heat up / spool up, and then my computer can't connect. This turns on instantly, and connects and prints without you having to think about it or do anything. No troubleshooting! It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, like scanning. But I scan everything with my phone, so it does what I need it to do, and does it very well. Also super fast shipping. I was expecting it to be a couple of weeks buying from a site other than amazon, but it was here in 2 days.

The date I bought this laser printer is Aug 8, 2020. However, when I tried to print the document after I use it printed for 10 pages, it became have lines and then some parts are disappearing. I didn't damage it artificially. I tried to change the toner but nothing changed. The first photo is the one I printed in September 2020 and the second is I print in January?

This compact printer is amazing. It was easy to install and to add our mobile devices for printing. I am enjoying the luxury of sending items to print from anywhere in my home using our IMac, smart phones and IPads. The printer is quiet, prints in a very reasonable time, is easy to load paper, and the ink cartridge lasts forever! This was a great purchase for such a reasonable amount of money!
