In the course of approximately 1 year, I have had different issues with my printer and after doing everything possible on my own as well as working with Customer Service to correct these, my issues could not be corrected. Working with Customer Service though was a good experience for they have honored the warrantee and have sent me a replacement printer.

Great printer for general office work. I work from home and bought this printer as a home office printer, primarily for the large paper size and scanning/copying capabilities, which is also shared across my network so anyone on the LAN can print to it when needed. I have had this printer for 11 months or so and the ink that come with it has lasted as advertised.

I was in need of a larger format replacement printer and this one fit the bill. It has magnificent photo printing capabilities and a large scanner bed. Setup was a total breeze and it uses less ink than my other printers to accomplish the same job. Highly recommended for those with a need for this size multi-function machine at a great price.

It's a very good and fast printer!! The only problem I've had in over the year I have used it - is cleaning the jets. It takes a lot of ink and when doing a deep cleaning it emptied brand new cartridges.

This is a fantastic machine. I needed one that could accommodate 11x17" scanning and printing as well as being ink thrifty (with good quality. This machine met and exceeded all of those requirements. It was simple to set up and only took less than 20-30 minutes total.

Double sided printing is not straightforward - user must manually remove paper from output and re-insert into paper tray. That was not clear from the advertisement. In fact, the info page states specifically "Automatic two-sided (duplex) printing helps save paper and money." Well, it isn't automatic with any Microsoft or Adobe products. Quite misleading.

We like this printer very much. It's larger than we thought, but very user friendly. We previously had a Brother printer for 10 years, but due to the ink absorber full error message, (which we were able to fix the error code one time) it was time to replace. This new printer has a much larger ink capacity.

This copier is such an improvement over my last one! It is quick, double side option, color, and some of the features I haven't even used (or figured out yet. What I don't like is that sometimes it picks up more than one sheet of paper, so you have to go through the print outs to make sure there are no blank papers. I also don't like the output tray. The papers don't always come out in order. BUT overall this is a great printer and I am very happy with it. I use it daily.

It prints great but is a little noisy. The only real issue I am having with it is when I select print, it always wants to print it to Adobe instead of the printer. I can't seems to get it to auto select the printer for me.

I love the 6545 printer. It does everything I wanted except resize in 5% inclement. So far, the ink is almost full and by now on other printers I would be purchasing more ink. I have printer some photo and they came out great. The reason I purchases this printer was I needed a flat bed to scan legal size and it has done a great job on that.

The J6545DW is a work beast that delivers as promised. I'm very happy with the print quality, print and scan time and the number of great utilities available from Brother. Efficiency of ink usage seems good, but it's really too early to tell. After two months< i wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I do love this printer - it's such an upgrade for us. It's fast, prints are high quality, and we are getting much better mileage from the toner vs our last machine. The ONLY issue remaining is printing double-sided. So far, this has not gone well. But as our main general printer, it's reliable.
