Bought this lil over a month ago, always been a huge Fan of LG monitors since about 10 or so years ago i had a 75hz 1080p ultrawide, ive had some other panels before but none felt as close to owning an LG panel especially with Freesync. I was previously running a Asus 30" 220hz IPS panel but it was the smallest UW ive owed and my eye sight isnt what it used to be soo after research and long waiting I happen too Find this monitor based on my criteria, and i landed on this. and have been absolutely happy with it... For Anyone Looking for a good solid 32" 1440p High HZ panel without making the jump to $$$ OLED. This is def the panel to go to.

Excellent monitor in 2024, especially if you can buy it on sale. Colors look amazing as you would expect, and the diffusion layer makes the backlight barely noticeable. Pixel density is low, but I did not notice any screen-door effect. The 4K@120hz issue does not appear to affect my unit, not sure if LG has updated the firmware since this product initially launched. No FALD so don't expect much of HDR except washed out colors, but it does get plenty bright.

Finally the bug that set the monitor to 4k/120Hz rather than 1440p-240/260Hz for some games/applications has been resolved with the firmware update to version 3.09, 51, 1.17 released in October 2023 through OnScreenControl Thanks LG

If I play any tac shooters this monitor bogs my frames down because for whatever reason this monitor forces full screen games to play at 4k. I primarily only play tac shooters like Valorant and Counter Strike and this has made my experience with this monitor extremely frustrating. I would not purchase this again and I believe it is too late to return it.

Still having auto resolution issues? Just youtube how to remove lower resolutions and FPS caps, in the nvidia control panel. Fixed it for me and monitor does well. Sometimes depending on the settings it might flicker on and off mid game, but you just gotta check what your playing and don't overclock it. Cheap and good monitor for 240hz at 1440p

I currently have it connected to one of my GPUs HDMI 2.0b ports and it will not run at 2560x1440p above 60Hz. There is also a noticeable buzzing sound that is very annoying. Will likely return.

I?m enjoying the 240hz refresh rate. I also like the flexibility to adjust the monitor and use it vertically. For coding, it?s been experience. Overall great monitor.

I bought this just before the holidays because my monitor was 10 years old and this seemed like the perfect upgrade for both office work and FPS gaming. The monitor has been noththing short of great so far. Only gripe would be that I already have a dead pixel just 3 weeks in.

The speakers just don?t work with gaming consoles. Simple as that. You?d need to order adaptors or something and even then I?m not sure. You?d think a gaming monitor would have the capability of working with gaming consoles but alas. I?ll go buy a different monitor without speakers for cheaper and spend the extra money on external speakers.

The issue is the monitor locks in at 4k 120hz in certain games like fortnite, apex legends and more. It definitely needs to be fixed with a firmware or software update because it's saying the monitor is set at 4k resolution yet it's a 2k monitor so the workaround is to use a program called custom resolution utility to override the monitors edid profile because it's causing a problem. I love the monitor and hope LG will work on a fix and update it because the 240hz and picture is great. Most people probably don't notice that it's happening but start certain games and use the menu button and click settings and you'll see it's only going to 120hz and sometimes it gives a resolution warning also telling you to set the monitor to the native resolution of 2560x1440.

I checked the reviews prior to buying this monitor and heard about a resolution/refresh rate issue, where the monitor wouldn't properly run at 1440p 240hz. However, I had no such issue with the monitor, perhaps because I got an amd vid card, the 7900xtx. The color and response time is excellent on the monitor. Doom eternal for example feels great at a high frame rate at 1440p 240hz. The HDR could be better, but I knew that this monitor couldn't match something like my LG oled tv. Overall I would rate the monitor highly.

This monitor is excellent in a lot of ways, but suffered from some sort of bug that locks certain games to 4K 120hz when in full screen. I believe this mostly impacts Nvidia cards (I personally have a 3080), but I think this is LGs fault. There is a workaround where you can run borderless windowed, but I shouldn?t have to do this and deal with the annoying pop up. LG has ignored this issue for at least 3 months, and it sucks knowing that they could push out a firmware update either fixing the issue or at least giving the option for the user to disable 4K 120 input signal. Overall I would still recommend this monitor, since when it?s doing its standard 1440p 240hz it?s an amazing monitor. Having to play certain games in windowless bordered is a bit annoying, but I can overlook it because of how good the monitor is. What I cant overlook is LGs ignorance to customer complaints, especially considering the fact that this monitor is 900 when not on sale.

What can be said other then wonderful things. This monitor is lovely and even larger then my last. The viewing on this little beauty is as smooth as butter. Unless you don't like butter.. Ohh Ohh, How about "Silky Smooth" viewing experience at 1440, 1ms, and 240hz. Mine is currently powered but the X-box and have had only great things to say. Running a Fresh 1440 at 120. The color is perfect and if you need to change them your tuning is very easy. The ability to change these on the fly makes setup a breeze. Two weeks into this purchase and an easy 15-20% overall gain in personal stat performance. Running FPS style games on this mean machine will help get those "Dubs". **Pro's** Thin bezel - Looks amazing from every angle. Semi matte screen - Background lighting does not impact performance. Menu System - This if the first time I've every encountered a thought our menu system. Performance - Allowing to switch between response time and refresh rates make this easy to plug and play for the computer to the X-Box/PS5. Letting you play or view at the best rate for each machine. Cons* I do not have two of them. ;)

This is the one, for me. The refresh rate and resolution are just what I was looking for. Nice and adjustable, no problems within the first few weeks of gaming it. Only complaint is the interface, but with a little patience I was able to figure it out.

I just received the monitor today and it is not even saying it works for 1440p 240 saying 4K 120hz why wouldn?t this work with a 3080 ti? When will this get fixed ?

When launching a game full screen the monitor falls back into a state where the OSD will indicate that the monitor is running 4k 120hz. This is frustrating because it seems to indicate that the monitor is not functioning correctly, or is not offering the stated levels of performance. This has become a fairly well documented issue on reddit and other enthusiast forms. This problem should be addressed. I'm not sure if it's an LG issue or an Nvidia issue, but something needs to be done. I really like the display. It's got good picture quality. I don't want to have to return it.

ON PC when playing fullscreen mode it is stuck to 120 hz 4k, While in borderless mode it is 240 hz 1440p, This monitor thinks I'm playing 4k 120 hz when this is clearly a 240 hz 1440p monitor. Whenever I set it to fullscreen it is is stuck on 4k 120hz, Only when I play borderless it turns 1440p 240 hz, and in that mode while fine has more input lag and performance decrease. If you have a 3000 series card and above you are out of luck, Apparently with much testing when using an AMD 6800xt this effect was not producible on this Monitor, nor was also using a 1080 ti and 2080 ti. But When using a 3080 ti or 3070 ti (which I tested) This monitor will not ALLOW NATIVE 1440p fullscreen @ 240 hz. LG Needs To Speak to Nvidia about this problem ASAP. We all know that borderless has more input lag and performance decrease than Native Fullscreen. Until it's fixed with a driver update I'm leaving this review.

Can?t play fullscreen at 240 or 260 hz on this monitor had issues with it since day one. Windows 11 and nvidia set to 260hz but monitor fps counter shows I?m on 3840-2160p 120hz. Although I thought it was a defective monitor I replaced it with another one and I had the same issue. I?m stuck with this monitor now? I?ll return it again and go with this a different route.

This product is in a weird gorgeous. It processes at lightning speeds and the colors are amazing. Would recommend to any gamer or digital artist and editor of any sort. The colors are vivid and the response time is like it already has the visuals ready to go. If you like and need to quality this monitor is definitely for you. Would recommend 10/10
