This device backed up my data just fine, but how on earth do you delete files to perform another new backup? I want to get rid of the older backup data.

Can be frustrating

I've had four 1TB T5s since they were first introduced.  They see a lot of use and they remain just as fast and just as reliable as they were the day(s) that I received them.
I'm sad to see that the price of these has shot up as much as it has, but I suppose that's to be expected these days.  I'm about to purchase SSDs for my new LUMIX S5IIX and I'll buy more of these before I consider the T7s (which for some reason are slower on my Intel based Mac).

ITS SO USER FRIENDLY

Compact, sleek, lightweight yet durable.  Very portable, can carry in small pockets or compartments.  Requires USB-C cord (both ends USB-C) to connect to device.  The particular item I received mounts and unmounts without any issues; a previous 500 GB device I bought elsewhere never un-mounts properly, it always gets stuck and I end up having to Force Eject it.

i think mine might be defective because it transfers at about 3.85 mb/s

Really Slow

Great drive so far. Pretty fast functionally. Really small form factor and can be tucked in just about any pocket. Similar in size to a stack of credit cards.

Small form factor with decent speeds

I love this device, I was going to get another m.2 nvme ssd but decided that I would get this as it was on sale and 2 terabytes is a great amount of storage and try it out. It turns out I can't tell the difference between this and my internal m.2 and I love it. It's also secure and password protected. I highly recommend this ssd and it was more than affordable for how much storage it has and how fast it is.

never used one before. was easy to install on 2 pc's so I could load games to the Samsung SSD drive, then play them on both pc's without using up data on the original pc hard drive.

great tool for me and it has a password to use in case I lose it or it gets stolen!

easy to use

Reliable, compact, and fast. This little drive is excellent for files that you need to transfer back and forth quickly. It's also nice that it has such a small footprint on your desk.
