I've tried everything in the help pages to get rid of the problem where a mouse hover using the touchpad triggers a left click and I cannot get it to stop. This includes driver updates and even registry hacks to the delay numbers. Windows 10 and Win 11 Pro both on this machine. Nothing seems to work. It's an OK machine, fast with good graphics and good battery life but if you're going to use it without an external mouse beware.

1 week after purchase, suddenly the laptop getting off. Again have to wait for atleast 30min to get in on. Don't know why its happening.

This laptop has quality written all over it. I was glad that there was a deal on this laptop too that saved me around $600 total. For the price, the speed is there, the quality is there. The only downside is that I had to play with the speakers a bit because they sounded very tinny when I received it. Luckily, there is an app that can change that a bit and now the sound is acceptable. I will be using this as a back up laptop as my main one was out being serviced. But by having this as my back up is great. I like that there is an M.2 HDD in it, as well as a 6GB video card. So I can do pretty much whatever I'd like (which is what I needed). My previous back up laptop was 8 years old and didn't provide the speed that I needed to utilize my software that needed said speed. But with this laptop, having a i7 Gen 10 is perfect for me.

Works fine. Although I have not used or tested its gaming features, it has served the purpose I wanted it to serve nicely. I was able to setup a dual Ubuntu-linux opearting system on on of its partition. And both the Windows 11 and linux operating system are working well.

Good value for money buy heavier than expected. It has great display and is really fast to boot up like my mac. My son loves the dark look of the laptop and spends hours with his programming of mathematical concepts. I enjoy how i can create different profiles on the new windows. Must better purchase than a windows surface or chrome in terms of fit, finish and overall usability. I would definitely explore the more expensive versions soon to replace my mac.

I?ve had this laptop for about 6-7 months now and I am glad to say that I am very happy with it. As a hardcore gamer, I spend as much as 7 hours straight on it. Now without it plugged in constantly, the battery does drain quite fast. However, if you sit at a desk and keep it plugged in all the time, this thing runs very well. The display and refresh rate are both very good for being $1500. My one con to this laptop however is that I wouldn?t recommend it to anyone who wants to use a laptop for work where you can?t plug it in (same reason as before). Overall, a great laptop where if you?re looking for something on discount, I?d highly recommend picking it up!

Have not used the computer a lot but I did use it to stream the Academy of Country Music, March 7, 2022. Worked very well! I had it connected through a network cable to my Xfinity router. It did not skip or have to wait for any of that show that I believe was live through Amazon. This computer was bought so I could have something to take on the road, if I decided to travel

I read a review about the loud fan and purchased anyway, thinking that the fan may occasionally be loud under heavy use. I didn't realize that the fan was going to be on as soon as I booted up the laptop. It was much louder than expected, and always on. Very annoying. After some research online, the fan noise can be adjusted with some xml code - no thanks. Not for me.

This is the best laptop I've ever owned. Games run great. Fans can be loud but the system stays really cool. If you're doing light work you don't really notice them. Love the matt anti-glair screen. Great colors and brightness. You can use it in an office/business setting because it looks like a normal laptop.

Bought this at BestBuy. Plays all games I throw at it. High fps too. Have it connected to two 32 inch monitors and use it as a desktop. Comes with a mux switch. I keep it on dedicated graphics and performance setting. For the money, this thing is worth it. Like I said it plays every game I have very well. I would definitely buy this laptop again. Very well worth the money!

The laptop was delivered in less than a week and had a keyboard that was easily readable. Performance was great and we decided it was better than two other laptops we reviewed.

I have to be honest, this has been one of the worst experiences purchasing a product that I have ever had. Setting aside the shipping delays due to the global GPU shortage, I received a machine with a faulty graphics card. It would continuously disconnect and the software would not recognize the GPU. I tried multiple fixes with no success. I sent the machine in to be fixed; this took one month. When I received the laptop, not only was the issue not fixed but the battery was no longer working properly. Frankly, this is a decent machine on its own, I just spent so much time pulling my hair out because of defects that I never really got to enjoy it. Half a year later and I'm back to square one.

It`s a not bad product overall except for the battery - it`s dying super fast even while in standard mode. When you turn on everything on max like gaming/performance mode - battery life is less than an hour. Very disappointed.

I was looking for a laptop the could double as both a work computer and one for personal use with some photo and video editing and light gaming. From a performance perspective, this fits the bill... Then you start to use it, and that is where two problems come in. 1) The battery... Wow does this thing drain fast when not plugged in. I was replacing a 6 year old laptop with short battery life and expected something better. Even when not using the laptop for photo/video editing or gaming, but just email or basic web surfing and it still drains in a couple of hours. The system is set to "auto" for performance and not battery saver (why? I bought something for the performance, I don't want to run in a limp-mode) and not in high performance mode either. You sit down with it and very quickly see the battery indicator start dropping and before you know it the laptop is getting ready to shut down due to low battery. 2) The ergonomics and general build of the laptop... The edges of the laptop are surprisingly sharp. By this I mean if you are relaxing on your couch or sofa and have the laptop on, well, your lap, you will get these sharp indentations into your wrists from the top edges of the laptop (by the keyboard when the screen is up and open). That really should be a bit more rounded. As it currently is, it forces you to sit at a table or desk 100% of the time. After using this for 9 hours or so in my office at home, I want to be able to continue working on it somewhere more comfortable, but these sharp edges are just poor design. In addition, the fan is ALWAYS running... And it isn't quiet. I could do a fresh power on of the laptop and just close the lid (nothing is running but Windows) and the fan is acting like the laptop is going to overheat and cranks the fan on... I can't imagine what would happen if I pushed the system's performance. Lastly, the screen is flimsy. With such a heavy laptop (due to the performance bits inside) and the inherit fact that people many times will grab a laptop to pick it up by its screen (people just do it, it doesn't matter if they should or shouldn't do it) and it feels like the screen is going to buckle and crack. I learned quickly that this is a risk I don't want to take at all because it is so flimsy. I've had several HP and (insert another vendor here whose name rhymes with 'bell') and their screens are rock solid. Those were models that cost 1/2 what this one does. Oh, one other note. This uses a 200w (in the U.S.) power supply. A spare power supply is not cheap, and the power supply gets really warm even when the laptop is idle. Not critically hot, but very warm when other laptop power supplies are ice cold even when using those laptops. So I like the performance, backlit keyboard, size for what I am doing, but the short battery life when not doing anything on the laptop, the really sharp (for the side of a laptop) edges, loud "always on" fans and general design are really holding this back from being a true winner.

I've picked this gaming laptop up for how much video cards... It has 8 cores.. a 3060.. replaceable ram and m.2 slots. AND THUNDERBOLT!! So if video cards ever become cheap again you could upgrade it with an external enclosure. Sure it gets real loud when in full on gaming mode but when just using it for windows or office work its silent. It also has the 115w laptop version of the 3060.
