This is a great little mic. Good audio quality, nice stable base. It doesn't do a lot of noise cancellation, but still real great clarity of sound.

Great little mic

I was surprised at how small it is. It clips right on the top of my laptop.
It can be orientated in any direction and that is convenient. The silver side is directional, and the black side is for omni- directional recording. Make sure you are in a quiet space as the mic picks up ambient noise. Once I made adjustments in volume levels, it performed perfectly for my 'remote' teaching. I don't have to shout and still be two feet away from the mic, It is that good.

For remote teaching, I found the Samson Go Mic works perfectly.

Pros: Small size. Quality (whenever I start using it for videoconferencing, my interlocutors comment out right away that the sound got much better)
Con: Sound dies after 20+ minutes on all my Macs.  This has been the case on 3 different MacBook/MacBook Pro, one Mac Mini, and a Mac Pro over 4 different iterations of the OS (and numerous "dot" upgrades in-between).  
If I have to make a short call, then this would be the mike I would plug in, but if I have to teach online for 1-3 hours, then this mike is completely unsuitable because I know it will just stop working at some point.

Great Mic

This is a versatile mic. I use it for google voice calls. I changed the computer settings to listen through my speakers and talk through the mic. People hear me clearer than my old headset. Also, I'll be using this on my smartphone to make videos. Great mic.

Brought this some time back & now had to upgrade as there's a lot of background noise being recorded in this.

For the price it's ok, but in performance wise it's fine.

Best mic I have ever owned! I like it that you can hear your own voice if connected to a headset. I can record my own singing and turn my bedroom into a karaoke bar :)

Got this mic on sale for like 30 dollars to improve my terrible video game streams and it's been pretty great.  It folds up really small and comes with a carrying case so you can put it away when not in use and it won't get all dusty.  It's small even unfolded, so it doesn't take up a lot of desk space.  Plugs right in with USB and works immediately, haven't had any driver or software problems with it.  Sounds good, works well.  No complaints.

Pretty nice mic for the price, particularly if on sale

The product is working fine. I really like the sound quality of this microphone. However, when I received and open the package, I found a crack on the bottom of the microphone.

Very pleased with this mic. Arrived on time as promised, plugged it in and it worked with no issues. I use it for Skype and reports from the other side of the conversation are that the audio quality is excellent. Now my wife wants one for her computer so I will probably have to get another one because she ain't getting this one.

This is my second purchase of  a Samson Go Mic because the first one I got worked so well that my wife was going to steal mine unless I got her one too. Really good audio and build quality and at the price I can afford to be generous. And I  just found the Omni- Cardioid pattern switch so I can walk around when I am on Skype or E-Chat. Nice!
