I produce a series for the American Bible Society based in Philadelphia, PA. We travel to Central African countries and other trouble spots of the world producing audio programs for radio, podcasts, and MP3 player/phone distribution to provide trauma healing for victims who have suffered atrocities from terrorists and other perpetrators of violence in those countries. The M69 TG with the WS59 foam windscreens allow us to produce a 13 part dramatic audio series with a cast of about 12 people in pristine audio quality regardless of the recording environment or ambience, often with little to no isolation and sound treatment, yet the hyper-C pattern provides more than adequate isolation and separation. Not only does the M69 TG capture the spoken voice but also indigenous music and instruments of all types with incredibly professional quality. These mics have the durable build to withstand whatever tough locations we find ourselves in. And, the dynamic design captures the sound we want while avoiding being burdened with overly sensitive nuances found in a condenser design. I pack four M69 TGs for these trips plus one Beyerdynamic M58 omni for crowd, walla walla, etc.

The Beyerdynamic M 69 TG is a professional dynamic microphone with a wide frequency response and can be used in studio or live applications. In live situations its excellent hypercardioid pickup pattern promises high gain before feedback by comparison to other microphones. The M 69 TG is well suited for sound contractors for use in churches or as an announcers microphone. In the studio its uses are wide varied but can be particularly recommended for the recording of guitars, brass and woodwind. The M 69 TG has a reinforced basket to withstand rough handling when being used for more demanding applications.
