Bad news:
- The lens is auto retracting, meaning it automatically messes your focus by setting it back to infinity every time the camera goes to sleep mode or is turned off. So it's PAIN in macro, astro, product, or whatever photography.
- It has a "wired manual focus", and it's bad. The faster you turn the ring, the slower the focus changes.
Good news:
- The image it produces are amazing! 
So, optically this lens is a dream come true but Canon has pretty much ruined it with bad electric executions and software (both, the camera's and lenses).

Great lens, 50, equivalent to a 50 mm ,light weight, compact, images are sharp and clear.

nice and sharp

This lens is about twice as expensive as the Canon 22mm 2.0, but the clarity and aperture this provides makes it completely worth it. It?s a little long of focal length for close up work and it?s a little heavy for an M mount camera, but if I have the space to work with it I love using it and am blown away by the results from it. My M6 Mark ii has either this 32mm lens or the Canon 22mm lens on it 95% off the time. I feel it was absolutely worth the price.

Perfect compliment to the Canon 22mm

The packaging and shipping was excellent. The lens is amazing, and hands down my best lens. I also have the 22 mm, the 55-200mm, and the kit lens 18-45mm. This 32 mm is so buttery smooth on depth of field. The quality is so crisp! Love it! Can’t wait to do my next shoot with it.

This lens has changed the game for my M50, stellar glass and the bundle accessories are great. More bang for your buck than other retailers offering at the same price. Really happy with this purchase!

Best Ever

The quality of the lens and the pictures it takes is worth the investment.  I haven't had good sunlight since getting the lens but have been taking nice indoor pics with external Speedlite.  It is a fun toy to experiment with.

I bought this lens to help me improve my pictures while on vacation. This lens is great for portraits and landscapes. Easy to use and portable. It’s my favorite lens.

Great lens for the M50!

I got this lens after a week with the kit lenses left me wanting something more. The bokeh on this lense is insane! From the first picture out of the bow I was amazed! It took a little getting used to such a wide open aperture at first but I was able to adapt quickly. With a max aperture of f16, this lens with the M50 does struggle to keep midday light under control. I had my shutter setting to 1/4000 100 iso and f16 and still was getting over exposed images. Now that could be due to my lack of experience as well. It is a great low light lens and I think the attached images will speak for themselves.

Exceeded expectations!

This lens brings the focal length of the full frame "Nifty Fifty" to M series cameras with far better optics.  I have both lenses and the difference in sharpness and the greater smoothness in M 32mm's bokeh effect is obvious to even the amateur eye.I have compared the Canon, "Nifty Fifty" to this lens using the excellent Viltrox speed booster.   The M32mm is arguably the best M series lens that has been released..  It is sharper than the excellent M 22mm.  This is one lens that I always carry with me along with the Tamron 24-70 with the Viltrox speed booster.  That puts this modestly priced M series lens in with some very fast company indeed.

A sharp 50mm equivalent for M series Canon Cameras.

Fast and quiet AF with excellent sharpness and contrast, even wide open. The fact that Canon doesn't include a lens hood is annoying, but that's Canon for you.

Best EF-M Lens At This Time

Very nice solid construction and build quality, super sharp and no detectable distortion or color fringing.  If you have lots of light this lens will give full frame quality with the M50.

I have down-sized from full-frame DSLRs with L glass to an M50 with the kit lenses and this 32mm f/1.4. Naturally the kits lenses, although quite good, left me wanting more especially in low light situations and AF speed.  Whereas the 15-45mm will take some time in low light, almost always emitting the AF assist light, this lens almost never requires the assist beam, unless it's just super dark. AF speed is seriously close to the pro lenses I had before, it just locks on almost instantaneously! It even has a focus limiter, so won't waste time trying to focus the entire focal length!
This new 32mm lens really delivers the goods! It is on a different level than the other M series lenses. It is small, but has a nice weight to it. The focus ring is really nicely damped, not flimsy at all. It is super sharp, focuses very quick, and has great colors, right out of camera. Simply a fantastic FAST prime for the M series cameras!

This lens has very good IQ straight from f/1.4 where the center is excellent and the corners are good very good (in absolute terms! @ f/5.6 it is a near perfect lens from center to corner on a 24 MPix sensor of M50.
I also like contrast and colors of the lens + overall "texture reproduction" which is very natural.
In contralight you have some flares - but they are asymmetrical: Put the sun closer to the border and the flare is outside the image, a great property of that lens! Sunstars are nice and natural @ f/11.
What I really like is that it has a 1:4 max. reproduction ratio which means that you can reproduce a ~ 60 x 90 mm sized object and f/1.4 is still absolutely usable (just the DOF is tiny) and closeups are crisp, contrasty.
AF is fast and decisive except you have very close objects plus very far objects. The focus switch helps if you do not want to be disturbed by closer objects: Canon has built in the countermeasure!
Bottom line: M50 + EF-M 32 is a great package if I just want to have a single high quality photographic tool with me to be prepared for a lot of situations from low light to close up. EF-M 22 was to wide for my taste and EF-M 18-55 doesn't provide wide enough apertures - EF-M 32 more than substitutes both for me!

Flexible single lens solution/Great image quality

Getting this for portraits is gonna give me great bokeh and fantastic sharp images. that F1.4 is gonna gonna be great for light scenes. Wish they made one this for EF-S or EF mounts aswell. Remember that F1.4 will act as an aperture of (F/2.24 which is still Amazing!!
