Easy sync and long battery life

A great option for external timecode syncing. The units themselves are lightweight but durable and the companion app makes for a very user-friendly experience. Highly recommended.

Worth it!

fantastic. takes a little learning curve, but super compact. I'd prefer a hardware piece for mounting onto a cage or rig, over the velcro. My only complaint.

The tentacle sync e & track e is a great product. It makes audio editing in post so much easier by connect video/audio via timecode. The clarity is great from the microphone. This is great for bigger productions, and for run and gun indie projects. I highly recommend this set up.

To say that the tentacle sync devices provide a simple workflow is an understatement. The app works without any problem and you don't need to be an expert on timecode or anything of that nature. These devices remove the headache from post production.

Tentacles Sync is a no-brainer

Amazing devices.  The battery lasts seemingly forever.  Even overnight, one of the devices still had 100% and the other was 90%+.  Amazing.

Buying the product also gets you a license to Tentacle Sync Studio on Mac as well, one for each device.  Pretty valuable right there.

Amazing battery life

The units keep time very accurately.  I use primarily with Black Magic cameras and with the cameras slaved to the units they will give a decent sync in Resolve.  They will be off by one two frames but will be consistent and there will be no drift.  The time discrepancy is a function of the cameras not the Tentacle units.

I bought two additional MK2 Tentacles to supplement my previous two Tentacles.  Be advised that if you aren?t already using the latest iOS version of the app, you will need to update that before you can add any new Tentacles.  If not updated, when trying to add the new ones the app will only say ?do not find any new Tentacles to add: here?s where you can buy some?.  <smile>

Simply the best option available for solid, innovative and flexible wireless timecode at a reasonable price.

One word: Awesome!

This saved my life. Syncing sound with video used to be so tedious and always prolonged my workflow. Now with just a sync of a button I can skip all of that headache and focus on the edit. Adorama also shipped it super fast. Got here in three days and I live across the country.
