I had this for about four months and loved how easy it was to use. I should have read more reviews. Like many others, the USB port went out simply by me moving the cord. This is ridiculous. I will be filing a warranty claim.

Sounds great, but doesn't last long -- it's broken after less than 2 months. I've tried to connect it via USB with multiple cables across multiple computers and it just isn't being recognized. This seems to be a known problem with this mic but they're still selling 'em.

I've been very happy with this mic for the last six months. I've had it set-up in my office on a swing arm in the same spot since purchase. I recently moved the swing arm mic stand and had to disconnect the USB cord from the rear of the mic. Now the mic doesn't work. I tried the same USB cord with my old mic, and it still works fine. I used the ATR-2100 for about 8-15 hours a week, and performance has met my expectations. I'm disappointed in the flimsy connection for the USB. I will likely start the warranty process this week.

Nice to have option to "go pro" with XLR or direct to computer with USB in one device.
