Very nice starter guitar! Well finished, electronics and pickups work as expected. Tuner machines are basic but do the job.

Looking to start playing guitar again after 30 yrs, I wanted an inexpensive but quality electric guitar and stumbled onto this Peavey. The fit and finish is amazing at this price point especially for a beginner guitar and makes the enjoyment of playing exemplary. Bought on sale at ($) all in...but I would've paid much more because it's a beautiful piece of work.

If you are a beginner like me, you definitely need this one. The guitar is nicely finished and comfortable to hold. I am not a pro at functioning but it sounds great, has volume controls. The only things that I don't like with is a curve on the top right corner of the body which make it uncomfortable (maybe all electric guitars come that way. never had one) Also, I could have used a guitar strap with the order but ended up buying it separately.

I cannot use the guitar at all due to a loud buzzing / loose ground. I originally thought I may have a bad cable, but after swapping cables and researching it seems like a loose ground connection within the guitar. I pretty much consider this DOA as I can't stand to have it plugged in,much less hear the music over the buzzing

The high e and low e were cut too low at the nut, so my luthier friend filled them in and reset the tremolo bar. This is par for the course with inexpensive guitar. Sounds and plays great, stock pickups are decent, and price was right.

Required slight trust rod adjustment. A few frets are sharp on the ends. Plays very well. Wish this guitar was around when I started playing in the 70s. Would have been nice if a gig bag were included. I bought this for church use and in teaching new players.
