This is such a great aux keyboard for me. I've been a performing keyboardist for over half a century. Worship Keys for the last 17. That I can lug this little guy around on my motor scooter, rehearse, and program with is priceless for me here in rainy, hot Thailand. It's SO light! But it plays way bigger than it looks. Even though not weighted, it has a firm key response so I'm comfortable playing piano, synth, and organ sounds. I use it mainly with MainStage but sometimes I just turn it on and play for enjoyment at home. Great speakers and sound! The ONLY comment I have is that the power supply is huge and heavy, considering this keyboard can also run on batteries. And the power cable became visible out of the supply quickly. Buy this keyboard!!!!

Just starting up learning piano again. Have a full size piano downstairs, but needed smaller keyboard for practicing upstairs. This keyboard fits the bill perfectly and sounds very good.

As a performing pianist, composer, choral director, and theater music director of many years, who already owns an acoustic piano and a high-end, full-size digital stage piano, I'm not an obvious purchaser for an inexpensive five octave keyboard like this. But this one is actually great. It has the sound quality, polyphony, and understated, professional looks of a proper digital stage piano in a lightweight, battery-powered chassis with decent speakers and synth-action keys. I can bring it to a rehearsal or informal jam session with zero fuss about lugging and setting up heavy, bulky equipment. It's light enough that I even added strap buttons so that I can play it without a stand, like a keytar but with unimpeded access to two-handed playing. I can finally go wherever my acoustic guitarist peers can, playing outside without a stage setup.

This keyboard, which is my first, has helped me improve my keyboarding skills. The Yamaha's lipped design key is my favorite, by far. The built-in speaker produced such wonderful audio. I really adore it.

I love this piano, for the price it’s great quality. The keys are nicely weighted and easy to play and it fits perfecting on a normal sized desk. The midi capability is exactly what I needed it makes it easy to plug right into your computer and work in whatever DAW you’re using.

I really like being able to select the voices from the iPad. I can record loads of songs and name them what I want so I can track my progress. I can also record in other programs such as Cubasis (and playback through the keyboard or the iPad's speakers) and in GarageBand (input only -- GB only is MIDI in and your audio out from iPad), and can use other sounds purchased in Cubasis such as iGrand and iElectric and even record with them. I am also getting the UD-BT01 (USB Bluetooth transfer of MIDI to iPad) so I can keep the iPad charged when using it. Goodbye Camera Connection Kit! I think it will also work with my Mac Pro. They were out of stock, but will get it in a 9 days! The keyboard feels the most like a real piano in comparison to other models in its price range. I am astonished. The sounds are WONDERFUL. If it goes out of stock, order it online. You will not be disappointed. Comes with the music rest but not the sustain pedal or the power supply. An actual bargain when you consider what you are getting. It is fabulous!

I bought this keyboard to practice at night, with headphones. I started with the idea to buy a midi synthesizer to attach to the PC, and ended up buying something that can do much more than that. As soon as I opened the box I was very pleased by its appearance. After hearing the piano demos I was impressed. A little less impressed by the feel of the keys, since I was used to a real piano feel... But for the price range it totally deserves 5 stars, especially sound-wise. Both piano and organ sound impressive. You can't expect graded hammer action keys in this price class, and at this light weight, but the feel of the keys is not bad at all. I found that at the factory settings the sensitivity of the keys, when playing either piano1 or piano 2, seems tuned for quite heavy hands. In other words the instrument seems to tend to play a tad too soft, more piano than i would wish; I guess I will figure out a way to fix this soon enough.
