Pretty good does the job. wish it was easier to turn off the automatic shut off mode. And the battery dies way too easily. Lastly, way too expensive.

These things are the best. I dropped my last one but after 3 years of it working flawlessly I can?t complain. Just don?t drop things on tile like an idiot. They?re super useful. Controls all lights and groups. Literally never fails. They?re fantastic.

This product works great and is easy to use. For what it is, it?s expensive, but I understand the importance of having it? which is why they can probably get away with the cost haha! I will say that the door to the battery compartment feels semi fragile and I?m hoping it doesn?t get broken. Fortunately the product is warrantied for 2 years so I will get over it (as long as it doesn?t break on 2 years & 1 day that is).

After a few years of use, the Profoto Air Remote TTL has proven to be reliable at the advertised distances. I only wish it could have more than 3 groups available. The non-TTL version has A-F.

This product was so easy to use right out of the box. Saves me the trouble from getting tangled with the sync cord. It doesn't add much weight to my camera. I really appreciate that it comes with batteries.

This is a highly competent and functional product. I watched several videos on the Profoto systems before I purchased this remote and, like the pros said, this remote never misses a shot for me. It also blows away the Pocket Wizards on reliability. The remote is reasonably well designed and has a solid function display. It is intuitive (with minimal instruction and orientation) and seems fairly well adapted to it's purpose. It does not, however, display any actual active information from the heads it is controlling, like the actual flash power setting numbers, etc. It will show what the remote is telling the head to do (like +1, or +2.2 stops from where you already had it). The physical build quality seems solid, but not particularly advanced or rugged. The build styling is somewhat archaic and cheap-looking. Overall it appears to be a solid device with a good reputation in the photo community, but it's a "Mercedes expense" on a "Honda value" product. Hence only a 3.

The Transceiver is a solid and reliable performer. I use I primarily with my Hasselblad H6D-50C. It syncs at shutter speeds up to 1/1600s with Full power on my B1's and A1. I can make the fine adjustments to flash power on the various head right at the camera. I meter my initial set up, but when fine adjustments are needed in flash power, it does it fast and reliably.

Profoto has the best customer service . Recently while on a shoot a Air remote stopped working . I called profoto they had me send the unit in (Fed Ex overnite) on them, it was determined the pins were not functioning. They overnighted a new unit the Next day. In the mean time I bought another from Adorama as a back up. Adorama and Profoto stepped up to the plate with their best in the biz service. Thanks again !!!

Works well. Expensive but ultimately worth it to avoid tying yourself up with sync cords. If you can’t afford it, you can also sync your flash up to the profoto battery to fire the lights! lil trick I learned waiting for this to be delivered... haha
