I've always been a fan of G-drives, and this 1 TB 7200 RPM Mini drive performs as expected. Very  reliable fast drive either using Firewire 800 on my older Macbook Pro or the USB 3 on my new Macbook Pro. Includes both cables. Very quiet. A must for your compact camera bag!

Excellent fast portable drive.

It is a great unit if you want to both store footage and also with 7200 rpm it can be used for editing. Ideal for traveling with a lap top, and editing on the road!

great for video productions

G-Drive Mini works great with Macs right out of the box.  No setup and no annoying software.  Great for Time Machine or just extra storage for a USB 3.0 equipped Mac.

I haven't have this little for too long, but so far I'm quite pleased. It's time-machine ready and really tiny!
