This boom arm mic holder is superb, you can just feel the quality! I previously purchased one from a different brand some years ago and it feels so flimsy compared to this one by Rode! I use it with my Rode Podmic and it's been a worthy investment!

This is the perfect arm for my AT2020. It's easy to setup, and I don't believe it will break easy either. There is a very valid reason that it's the most popular mic arm, it's very good.

Great Mic Arm

I am sure I am one of many people that did this during the pandemic but me and some friend's started a podcast summer last year. While trying to stay safe we invested into some USB Rode NT-USB Mics but felt it was necessary to make I had the best sound with an arm. Definitely loved the investment of getting this

I love how this arm connects to my desk. As soon as my microphone shows up I am excited to get the settings done and continue my sounds work.

The build is sturdy and easy to move around. It worked very well with my Rode NT-USB mini and also my small camera (via 3/8 to 1/4 adapter).

Great quality microphone stand

I got 4 of these to hold Rode podmic's for a podcast I'm producing, and they've held up great so far (about 2 months being used ~3x per week). They balance great with the podmic's, and they feel very sturdy and high quality when set up. At first, I was hesitant because they just slide into the desk clamp, there's no lock holding them down. But I've never had a problem with them coming loose even when most of the speaker's I've worked with are very animated, stand up, move the arm around, swing it back and forth, etc. I would recommend to anyone who can afford.

Also just a note, when there's no mic attached, the springs in them pull the arm fully vertical, and you basically can't adjust them or leave them in a certain position because they'll just snap back to vertical. They need the weight of the mic to hold them down. I've never used arms like these before so when I got them at first I thought they were broken, but they're not, once the podmic was attached they adjusted perfectly.

Completely happy with this purchase. It firmly mounts on table and doesn't wobble at all. With a heavy enough microphone, and proper tension, you can move it to any location and it stays. I frequently move it around and haven't had a problem. It almost never transmits noise to the mic if I move/adjust its position while the mic is on. I use mine with the Rode Pod Mic.

I?d been looking forward to getting a high quality boom arm for my desk. I do a lot of VO and video calls for work and was tired of the desk mic I was using. The PSA1 was recommended a lot so I went for it. Quality is amazing. Well worth the money. Mounting options are also great. The only complaints I have are the mounting bracket doesn?t like to keep my microphone stable and you need to have a mic that is between its weight capacity or it won?t stay in place. My mic is slightly on the light side of the capacity and it?s a major pain to get it to stay in place. I?m going to have to find a creative way to add some weight to it.

tension is perfect with a mic attached. you can move it and it stays at where you put it. however, turning my mic would cause squeaking noise

Fantastic Boom Arm

This is the best Boom Arm for my PodMic by Rode. I was hesitant because of the price. After doing research I concluded this was the best solution.

Does exactly what it?s supposed to do with a little adjustment and tightening of the screws my mic and Kaotica Eyeball were able to stay exactly in place where I wanted with no hassle.

Nice Boom Arm

Peace-1 is perfect

Overall a very good product and would highly recommend.  Only thing I came across that I would give it a knock for is no good way to attach the pop filter I use.  Other than than buy with confidence you won't be disappointed. I wish Rode sold the desk insert separately. I have a different boom arm and would love another desk insert

By far the best mic arm I've ever had.
You can even tighten the tension for a lighter microphone.
Didn't have instructions on how to tighten the tension so it gets a star off for that
