A very well-built camera! Best for street photography with its interchangeable lens. I highly recommend.

Even though the Fujifilm XE4 was on backorder, Adorama kept me in the loop by sending me updates on when I could expect the camera to be shipped. It was not a long wait at all and I love the camera. I use this camera as a fun grab everything camera and I really enjoy it.

Amazing tiny compact camera and the guts of the x100v sans the flash and physical dials. Also viewfinder does not bode well with folks with glasses like myself. Great autofocus performance and has been a joy to shoot with weekly! Consider if you are a looking for a sleek and compact tool to document your travels or daily life.

Ive owned fuji xpro1, xt1 (2), xt12, xt20, and xe4 + lenses laowa 9mm f2.8, fuji 16mm f2.8, fuji 18mm f2, 23mm f1,4, 23mm f2, 35mm1.4, mitakon 35mm f0.95, ttartisan 35mm f1.4, and fuji 50mm f1.2 .For me the best combinations are xpro1+fuji 35 f1,4,and xe4 +fuji 23 f2 and ttartisan 35f 1,4. I traded in all the other stuff at adorama..

This is Fujifilm #6 for me. I shoot with the f/2 WR primes and the image is remarkable. Stunning. Two star reduction because in will not reliably record video for any length of time. I do fully understand the time limitations are in place to prevent over heating. The thing is, it never gets anywhere near the limit. I can not use it for paid work because of this failure. This compared to my little old Panasonic GX85 that routinely and reliably records 4K video clips (with stabilization) until the battery dies. In my testing it reached 120 minutes. If Panasonic can accomplish this (several years ago) why can't Fujifilm?

If you're looking at Fuji's other rangefinder style cameras and you want interchangeable lenses and don't mind the lack of weather sealing, then I think you should take a hard look at the X-E4. I considered both the X100V and X-Pro3 before settling on the X-E4, but the choice was obvious for me. I wanted the ability to change lenses and I don't care about an optical viewfinder. Weather sealing would have been nice, but at this price it's hard to complain. Pros: - One of the most compact Fujifilm cameras. I think the blocky and minimal design is really attractive. - Nicely balanced with their smaller primes, especially the f2's. - Feature rich and affordable. - Beautiful images and incredible film simulations. I've shot almost exclusively with classic negative and barely touched the raws. - Legit video specs with the amazing eternal simulation. To my surprise, I find myself exploring video. - Articulating screen is very useful for stills and video. - Decent battery life and USB-C charging. - Touch screen Cons: - Minimal design may go too far for some. Ergonomics are poor, but made better by the addition of the thumb rest. - Fewer analog style controls compared to it's siblings, but I find it still works for me. I use the aperture ring on the lens, shutter speed dial on the body, and set ISO to the front dial. - No IBIS or weather sealing at this price.

The Fuji XE-4 is everything I?ve wanted in a camera as a novice photographer: quick, compact, yields beautiful photos, stylish and holds vintage aesthetics, affordable, and simple. It is truly a fun camera to have. Of course the body is only half the fun, but get yourself a few XF WR lenses and you?ll be quite satisfied. I like to use the XF 23mm, 35mm, and 50mm WR f2 models.

The Fujifilm X-E4 is a super compact mirrorless camera with the visual appearance of an old rangefinder camera. This small and lightweight camera is perfect for street photography; easily fitting into a backpack, messenger bag, or even a large coat pocket (with a pancake lens attached). Image quality and autofocus are fantastic. The only potential downside I can find with this camera is that the compact body might be less comfortable to hold especially for those with bigger hands. You may want to purchase some grip accessories like the thumb rest and side grip. Also, the design of the camera is very minimalistic, meaning there?s very few buttons. Therefore, access to certain settings requires digging through the menus a bit. For example, changing focus or metering modes may require going into the menu. Overall the camera is minimal and designed with simplicity in mind. This is my top pick for a compact camera with an interchangeable lens option.

I've been a Fujifilm camera user for some time, beginning with the X-Pro 1. This is one of the most pleasurable cameras I have owned in the series. It is as compact as the Argus C-3 35 mm film camera which began my photographic interests in 1955 but it shares the same sensor as my XT-4. It is, therefore, unbelievably compact with amazing quality.

So far so good overall; can only hope it is more robust than it seems. Back botton focus awkward, too much requires a deep menu dive.

I already had a black copy of the XE4. I was very pleased to see the silver copy actually has a real metal top plate and not fake or painted like some of my former Olympus bodies. As for image quality, it matches all of the other Fujifilm bodies that have the same sensors and processors, so nothing to complain about there. I love this camera, along with my XT3. It will be with me for several years, I?m sure.

As an X-T3 owner I got the X-E4 as a second camera and I couldn't be happier (WR would have been nice) but like the title says, I find myself grabbing the X-E4 over the X-T3 more and more. When I started shopping for a second camera I was torn between the X-E4, X-T30, and X-S10. For me it really came down to the most compact and lightweight option, so I went with the X-E4. The slim design (no grip and no view finder bump) has been fantastic, with just the body cap and no lens the E4 can just pop into my camera bag next to the T3 like a battery charger. One of concerns I had was the lack of buttons/dials but to be honest the controls are extremely intuitive and I was able to translate my most common T3 functions to the swipes and quick menu. I did miss the rear command dial for a while but its been easy to live without it. As silly as it sounds, I find myself fiddling with settings less and shooting more, just AV and click. The other thing I was worried about was lens sizes. I figured the E4 could run my smaller f2s, and they are great, but I've also been using larger primes along with the 18-55mm kit without any grip or thumb rest. I typically shoot two handed, but even single handed, the larger 300-400g lenses feel comfortable and easy to manage. To be fair the X-E4 does look a bit odd when it has a lens bigger than the camera itself but it works and it's light. The one thing I truly find myself wanting from my T3 is the ability to tilt the screen in portrait orientation. I understand it's a trade-off for the selfie option and the awesome recessed screen but I do miss that for low shots. Over all the X-E4 has a great light weight feel and it's a wonderful experience to use.

I upgraded from a Fuji x100s and couldn?t be happier. The small size makes me feel like I can take this anywhere. Was debating between this or the xpro3 but went with the slightly smaller body. I turned off the lcd screen anyways. I believe they have the same sensor.

before I get into the camera, massive props to moment for a) Having it in stock when literally no one else does and b) their INCREDIBLY fast shipping. I'm currently in Hong Kong, and this arrived 3 days after I ordered it. In a worldwide pandemic. Thats really impressive. Onto the camera. Its exactly what I'd expected and more. I'd been looking into getting the X-E4 as an everyday carry, and I'd always wanted to get into the fuji system, but could never justify investing into a second system. But with this kit, practically a X100V but with an interchangeable mount, this was perfect. I've been using it as my everyday shooter and I'm very happy. Its small and light, unsuspecting, and punches way above its weight class. I'm still sticking with my sony full frames for pro jobs and dedicated shoot days, but my fuji will stay on me at all times. Colors are beautiful, I barely have to adjust anything in post. I know everyone raves about the SOOC jpegs and the film simulations and recipes, but after testing quite a few out, its just not for me. I love shooting RAW and adding the simulation in post. Personal preference. Great camera for what it is, highly reccomend.

Very quick shipping! Easy purchase. The X-E4 is very small and light in a good way but an extra grip is almost a must. Has some fun fuji features. 4 of 5 stars because my box was really beat up, ordering a new camera feels super exciting but when the box shows up thrashed its a little discouraging.

I am really happy with the camera. It functions exactly how I imagined it. The body is sturdy and well built. The 27mm f2.8 is a very good lens with a very good level of sharpness. I hope fuji produces more compact speed prime lenses. The shipping from Adorama was fast and the package arrived without any compromises.

Camera is pretty light. About the size of Sony a6500. Textured cover is pretty neat. Reminded me of my first film SLR. Love the Q button and the Auto ISO settings. Film simulation brings back memories of chrome/darkroom days. The more I shoot with it the more I realized I will spent less time on the camera and more in the viewfinder. There are a lot of things to explore for this camera. Will spent more time with it. (The "contact sheet" image is what I usually do with every camera. A reference. The subject in the photo is my first film SLR. Similar style but 5x the weight.)

This camera is a great addition to my gear. I have two XT3 bodies and quite a few lenses. I bought this body to use with my 27, 18-55, and my 55-200. It all fits in a small pelican box that goes with me on farm equipment and boats. It is a little more reliant on menus to make changes, and I wish the exposure dial had a lock. Still a very intuitive easy camera. It would make a great first camera for a student as well.
