I bought this watch 4 years ago and haven't a problem with it  in all this time.

I bought this watch a year ago and have used it 5 times because of it bad battery life, now it won't even charge and won't turn on. I called Samsung and they refused to fix because it's out of warranty.  TBH, this is the worst purchase I have ever made, with all that money, it didn't even last me a year.

Bad features

I bought this watch for the fall feature, and I think I'm really sorry.  The battery sucks: it needs to be charged every day. If I were to activate more functions, it wouldn't last that long.  I have a small wrist, so finding a watchband that would keep it snug was a challenge. I am not happy with this product.

this is my second galaxy 4 watch within months. It is very disappointing, neither of them stayed charged for an 8 hour work day. Samsung leads to false belief by stating the watch stayed charged for 40 hours. This watch is totally useless to me and I am stuck with it because Samsung will not do anything about the faulty product.

WILL NEVER RECOMMEND SAMSUNG GALAXY 4

So far my experience with this watch has been less than enjoyable. Most apps available for the watch through the app store don't work the way they should and the actual amount of useful apps is very very limited. I guess I didn't realize before buying the watch that 90% of my everyday apps like Facebook, twitter, my bank app, ect weren't available for the watch. Not impressed with the fact that I can't stream music through my watch, so far it's basically just a remote to control the music as it plays through your phone. Constanly have problems with the body mass measuring, it makes it to 67% and errors out saying i n3ed to move my watch further up my arm and no matter how far i move it or how tight i make it it doesnt ever seem to work correctly.  Pretty much the only useful thing for me is the sleep tracking. Overall if I had the choice again I wouldn't have purchased the watch.

Not impressed

I purchased two of these Samsung watches and they both broke less than a year after purchase. Customer service was of no help to fix the problem so now I'm stuck with two dead watches that can't be used.

Sucks

My mother bought this for me for cross country, I want to say 2 or 3 years ago. It works great, the issue is my sister also got one and the measurements are always off 0.1 or 0.2 miles, when tracking running for longer distances. Another thing, is it dies fast. I used to bring it to school, and do nothing on it besides check the time, it was almost always dead by 4:00 PM, when I take it off the charger at 7:00 AM. They also sent the 44mm screen, when we ordered the 40mm screen. It's a little too big for my wrist, being that size. Overall though, it works great, really easily connects to my phone, able to make texts and calls, easy to use the screen and click apps too.

Is there a fix for Watch4 no longer being compatible with S22 Ultra?

I got this as birthday ?? ?? and it's easier to program with cell phone android.  Change screens and check vital health issues.

Awesome

I've had this watch now for several years.  I like the watch and it's classic look... But like everyone else has already said, the battery life is ridiculous.  Can't go a full 24 hrs without charging it unless you barely use it.  
BTW Samsung:  No need to suggest that I have settings wrong or am using it incorrectly.  FACT...the battery life is terrible no matter how you Spin this.   Your developers should have addressed this matter instead of trying to justify it

I purchased this watch a couple weeks ago because my Fitbit was getting old and I also wanted more features than Fitbit offered, although for the most part, I was happy with my Fitbit.   I am so happy that I made this purchase.   I am still finding new features!

Great watch

I bought the Watch4 with a discount for 179.99 USD and it's been AMAZING!! At first the battery life wasn't the greatest, but once you get used to charging it while you sit at you desk or something, it can totally last a full day, I've also never had any QC issues that some people have been talking about in these reviews. Overall: Amazing Watch highly recommend for the price if your on a budget and have a Samsung phone

The battery life is non-existent. If I even use this for a few texts and one 15 minute walk a day, I have to charge it again in less than 24 hours. I can't use the features and definitely can't personalize it with photos (one of the main reasons I chose the Samsung watch). I tried and it died in hours. I had an Active 2 watch that I could use for everything and it would last days.

Gorgeous multi-tasker of a watch

I bought this watching July of 2022. The battery last about 20 hours. But the worst part is the software. I can not install the software onto my phone. They changed the software it use to show the length of sleep and the various levels. Such as light,deep even rem. It is now called Samsung health but when I installed there was no way to connect to my watch. So I uninstalled now get message not compatible with my devices. I am not about to buy another phone . So will need to find a different watch.

Dead

Loved my watch for a long time, less than 2 years later it will no longer power on.  Per other sites there is or was a 2 year manufacturers warranty - per Samsung, its only one year.  I purchased it in May 2022 and enjoyed it up until 6 weeks ago.  Now it's just a paperweight.  It will no longer power on and won't take a charge.  Trying to determine if I stick with Samsung or move to a different brand - loved my watch.

fell out of love

I paid 100.00 more than what they sell for now. the one i purchased in September of 2021,  it stopped working 2 years to the month after i purchased it. Samsung will honor the warranty, no i did not buy an extended warranty, I did not think i had to for what they cost. and now i have to pay to get it fixed. As of now I am back to my 10 year old Citizen watch i bought 10 years ago that still works that i paid the same amount for. Just beware.

Beware!!!!!

I bought this when it first came out.  I was excited but it was very laggy and slow.  even basic apps were too slow and 3rd party apps constantly crashed.      I do not recommend it.

I have had this watch less than 2 years and it has died. Won't turn on. I can't find a Samsung authorized shop to have it repaired. Very disappointed Samsung!!!

Has died!

The latest upgrade is terrible.
In particular, Sleep mode frequently won't turn off. When it won't turn off, I have to turn the watch off and back on to get Sleep mode to stop. But then I have to reset the widgets to get then to work. Ether that or go to my phone and turn it on and back off in the Modes app. The Modes app shows it is off, although it is still on on the watch.
There are other issues, but that is the one I'm dealing with again this morning.

Had this watch for over a year now. I never receive notifications to the watch have missed many text messages and phone calls. Battery life is worthless. It will just randomly turn off. Needs some serious improvements!!

Great watch for the money

I have purchased two Galaxy 4 watches. One silver and one Black. The silver one I have had 0 problems with it holds a charge, works great and everything just what I needed. The black one I sent to get a battery replacement because the battery wouldn't stay charged for more than 7 hours. Well even with the replacement battery it's not holding a charge more than 8 hours. I'm not sure what the problem is and since it is out of warranty sadly it is useless to me.

One works the other doesnt

after having it for a year and few month, the battery is degraded significantly. The interval between charging the watch is less than 24hrs, in less than a year and half.
