Used Sony FX30 Super 35 Cinema Line Camera

A lovely handy camera, great to use for wedding photography & video as I do for a living. Very disappointing however that after spending such a lot of money on a good camera, there is not even a strap in the box. Sadly I am now using my FX 30 with a canon strap that I used from an older camera which I no longer use.

I have just bought this camera and am totally delighted with it. With it's discreet size, I can take this camera to places where a bigger one would not be permitted. It is brodcast quality. I am a TV & Film Cameraman with 50 years experience in the industry, including 3 years in Hollywood, where I shot one of the first Feature Films to be digitally originated

I bought this camera in June 2024, besides certain "issues" with the noise at lower light, it's a awesome camera, hands down and the image quality is excellent.

Coming from Canon to Sony i thought I was going to have a hard time adjusting to the menu but it felt seamlessly and more intuitive!!! I love this camera!!

I bought this because I wanted a reliable camera for weddings and events. It has surpassed my expectations, there's some stuff I have to relearn and things I will miss with my old camera by switching to the FX30, but it's worthy trade off. I highly recommend this to other professionals.

I ordered this in preparation for a last-minute corporate gig, and Adorama was able to deliver the camera within 2 days reliably. Your shipping department deserves congratulations. Also, I purchased the FX 30 KIT version because the extras are quite useful. I actually used the GREEN battery in my corporate gig; it held up quite well in relation to the original Sony battery.

The camera is great quality in terms of 4k live streaming and the image quality is perfect. really happy with the built in fan as it doesnt overheat

This is my first Sony camera, and I expected to start with an inexpensive full frame. So I love the fact it shares the same body as the FX3 (with fan, lots of custom buttons, solid), and shares the menu with all the options to record. But what Sony did with this model is copy the FX9 recording: a 4K image (including DCI 4096!) using the whole 6K sensor and oversampling resolution and color. So instead of a $3800 12MP camera, you have an $1800 26MP camera, with a 1.55x crop. Embrace the long lens, OR enjoy choices like the Sony 16-55 f2.8: a 24-85mm full-frame effective lens at about a pound! Autofocus and stabilization as expected, I feel there's no better choice to step into the Sony world than this. Lastly, 90% video, shooting indie films, coming from the GH5 and Blackmagic Pocket cameras. Bought here at Adorama, with a Ninja V to record the 4.6K raw it exports, so pleased.

I bought this as the obvious choice?not as a run and gun,as a cinema camera,meaning I control the environment 100% lights shadows etc?first day testing it out as a newbie I was offered a job.(100% true) filming the U.S Open in California.

Incredible how much they have packed into this camera ! I'm extremely pleased with the value in this body and the handle I purchased with it as a kit had been extremely worth it. For context I am an audio professional ( mix engineer ). I have a home studio and I wated to bring high quality visuals and content to my brand and this has been the perfect tool.

I have been using the FX30 for more than a year, and It is an excellent camera, mostly used for documentaries and interviews, easy workflow (If your computer handles log files), easy to color grade, no regrets at all!

A massive problem with the firmware update, no battery info. It shows up on the app so clearly a bug. Also why no shutter angle? This is a Bcam for my FX6 these things are 101.

I am very satisfied with this camera that delivers excellent image results, 10 bits, and 4k 60fps - exactly what I was looking for. The value of this camera is much higher than the price. And the FX30 has great features that help with professional video production.

This is the best camera for video, I'd say "on a budget" but that doesn't even do it justice. Sure it's great on the wallet, but it is actually a cinematic masterpiece. 10/10 recommend!

To get all the feature on thi camera is well worth the price. Pictur quality is up there Excellent. The low light is not as good as my full frame but aceptible in most scenery I do miss the evf there is none on this camera

Honestly, this is probably the best bang for buck you can get right now. Sony autofocus, colors, and just features in general make it amazing. And I've used it to match with fx9 and fx6 and it's flawless. I love it.

The camera is good but dont have raw system the most important thing in the film industry you have a great name Sony but you have to know if you make the decision to make this products new cinema line in your brand tell me the reason your don't introduce in the camera system now i have to buy another piece to film in raw and make happen waisted and spend more money for some one miss this idea?.
