Is $100.00 too much?
It?s an expensive power cord, but it works. Don?t forget this is only half the equation. You still have to buy the Nikon camera specific adapter that goes in the battery compartment to power the camera off an available AC source.
Good for indoor video sessions but little else unless you carry a 100 foot extension cord around in your camera bag :)

Great Nikon accessory of very high quality
As expected with Nikon Accessories, this is a well designed very high quality power supply to provide A/C power to Nikon DSLR and Z Series Cameras. It needs an adapter to connect to the cameras, in my case I'm using the Nikon Power Connector EP-5B that simulates an EL-15 battery.
I have used this A/C Adapter and Power Connector with my D800 (MB-D12), D850 (MB-D18), D500 (MB-D17), and Z7.
All of these camera bodies have a rubber insert in the Battery door opening to allow the cord from the Power Connector to pass through with the Battery doors closed. The Battery Cradle for the Battery Grips also have slot with rubber insert to let the cord pass through the Battery Cradle with the Cradle inserted and latched completely.
I have done both Time-Lapse Videos and Interval Timer recordings that have spanned as many as 6 days, and as long as the A/C power isn't interrupted, the power to the camera is also uninterrupted.
