So right out of the box i was impressed with its clean design appearance and the layout of the instrumentation panel. Having never played or instructed, I look forward learning how with the apps and the 3 months free offered on flowkey. Check back in 6 months on an update.

The Journey Begins??

I am an electrical engineer and used to work in the semiconductor industry, but still I am amazed at the capabilities built into the EZ-300. Over 600 voices, including the Yamaha Concert Grand Piano. But not just one piano: many pianos, organs, flutes, etc. They are fun to play. 
And the instrument's teaching methods are excellent. You can proceed one musical phrase at a time, taking the staffs separately if you want. It tells you how you are doing and when you've mastered botH staffs, it applauds your efforts and lets you proceed to the next phrase.
And if one wishes to learn chords and chord progressions and their use, similar teaching methods are used. But if you would like to use chords as accompaniment but find it difficult to form them quickly enough, the EZ uses "smart chord" or "multi-fInger" abbreviations for the chord deSired.
