Have gone through two. The first had a defective joystick switch that failed after two days. The second failed to detect HDMI signals right out of the box. Adorama was great with their return process.

I bought this monitor over a month ago after a lot of research and with some trepidation as I had never purchased a separate monitor before.  I replaced my 8 year old iMac with a Mac Mini M2 for personal use.  The LG monitor being 4K seemed superior to me in many ways and was well priced.  It turned out to be easy to set up and actually surprised me as to how great it is.  It came bundled with HDMI cable and I downloaded the manual from the LG site but it turned out that the quick start guide was enough...almost just plug and play.  The display rivaled that of the excellent one on the old computer and it was just immediately compatible with the mini.  The adjustments are very easy to make with the joystick and once you set your connection that's it.  There aren't speakers nor is there a port to connect them nor is there a camera but these are taken care of at a budget price since there is such a big savings on such a high quality display.  The stand is stable enough but there is the ability to purchase and attach a custom one but I don't find that necessary.  The monitor comes securely packed with supplied cables.  In my case HDMI works well since the computer only goes to 60 hz.  Text, color and video appear excellent to my eyes and if one is a gamer should be capable of displaying most games.  I don't know about the longevity, obviously but I have had to large LG TV sets and they have been very reliable in my past experience.

Excellent Performer

I just needed to new monitor for my old MAC mini, and this one was recommended by an audio engineer who is much younger than me and lives in Maryland. I'm also an audio engineer, now 85 years old, living in Hawaii. When it arrived, I was a little surprised by the The "instructions" that came in the box: rather minimal, but I was able to get it properly attached to my old MAC mini and it is working  just fine. I thought I'd need the full owner's manual (which I could have ordered) but I just used common sense, and assumed that "PC DP OUT" was a reference to a Windows computer which I don't have. LG sent it without two essential screws! I had to call Canada to get the two screws!

Awesome for the money

I'm used to the clarity and color balance of the MacIntosh Retina® displays and wanted something as close as possible without paying their huge price. I'm using it with a new Mac Mini with the M1 chip and the display delivers in spades. I do professional photography and desktop publishing so the 4k monitor is a joy to work with during those long hours.

Resolution is superb and excellent color accuracy with my new M2 MacBook Air. I'm still trying to figure out how to have it stay dimmed when the Air cycles in and out of sleep, but otherwise loving it.

Purchased this item to serve as mirror and extension for my new laptop. Set up was very easy and the picture is very bright and clear. Makes photo processing that much easier and less straining on the eyes.

LG 4K IPS monitor

I've had this motor for about a month and am using it to edit photos and videos.  The color match nd accuracy is close to ideal.  Given the p rice of the monitor, I would say its perfect.

great color and resolution

The screen clarity and performance is as expected.  Sharp picture with good color accuracy.  Used for video processing and also as a general second monitor.  My only issue is that you cannot have a Mac and PC feed at the same time in split screen.

Excellent picture quality

I purchased two monitors a month ago. So far, no technical problem. However, it appears that a 24-inch monitor is not a good fit for a resolution of 3840x2160. I used dual monitors on every workstation and if I had the choice, I would have gone for at least 27-inch. I changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and changed text size to 125%. For a 67-year-old accountant it looks great.

No comments about the image, all as I expected. But the stand is:
- flimsy
- doesn't keep monitor level horizontally
- too low
- not adjustable
Looking for some books to put under it. That will look lovely.

Secondly, there are no controls that I can find. Maybe not Mac friendly ¯\_(?)_/¯

Excellent quality

The LG 24 CLASS 4K UHD IPS LED MONITOR is installed as a desktop monitor for my Mac Pro Laptop. It was a very easy setup right out of the box. The color accuracy and resolution are very good.  I also use it with a PC laptop for work.  Both use an HDMI input and switching between them is relatively easy to do.

I use this monitor for watching DVD movies. It?s picture provides an immersive experience. Factory settings are perfect. Excellent wide viewing angle w/o any glare. Hefty build & quality components provide long term longevity.

Great Quality monitor, value for money

This television has been great, the quality of the image is great.  I have no complaints about this product.

This is a nice monitor I bought to work at home, I had the monitor for exactly 54 weeks and then half the monitor when dark gray.  LG did not provide support.  Now the monitor is useless.

Simple. Does not have USB ports and all sorts of stuff one never use.
So why 4 stars instead of 5? The bezel is shiny. Annoying reflections. It would have been perfect if the bezel had a matte finish.

After having my monitor for a couple of weeks, I must say that it lives up to my expectations. The picture is bright and clear no complaints.

Great  features .

4k monitor

Easy to put together: basically attach the screen to the stand.  Easy and straight forward to set up.  There are 2 HDMI ports on the back, along with a headphone jack, and a Display port.  This was a gift to upgrade my monitor to be directly compatible to my new desktop that required a Display port. 
The display itself is crystal clear, sharp, and the colors are vivid.  The first time I turned it on I was amazed at the difference from my previous monitor.  
The only drawback, for me, is that the buttons for the monitor settings, which one would normally find along the bottom of the monitor frame, are now part of the on/off button.  I have not had the nerve to try to use them.  There is an app you can download so that the monitor controls are on screen rather than part of the on/off button but that will only work if you do not have your monitor mirroring on another display, which I do.  It is not a huge deal since I have rarely used those controls in all the years I have had computers.
All in all, a wonderful upgrade to my system!

Bright and Sharp!

Wanted a 24" high resolution monitor to replace my old Viewsonic for use with my 2020 macBook with retina display.  Have never used LG products before, but this monitor got great reviews, including some from people with macBooks like mine.  It was like getting new vision when I connected it to my Mac.  Wonderfully clear and fast, with more features than I'll ever need.  I couldn't be more pleased.

I bought this monitor specifically to use with my new 4K outdoor security camera system. I've only had it for about a month, but so far I'm extremely glad I did.
Conventional wisdom says 4K isn't that much of an improvement over 1080p on smaller screens, but I wanted the best clarity possible for my cameras. A 24-inch monitor was the biggest I could fit under the shelf of the hutch on my desk, but I sit fairly close to it anyway, so a bigger panel really isn't  necessary. The results are excellent!
My three cameras transmit in color during the day, but two of them switch to infrared black and white at night. The clarity on this monitor is terrific in either mode. My cameras can see up to nearly 200 feet at night, and not only are close-up images clear and sharp, but background images are quite good too..
There are easy adjustments for color, contrast, saturation, brightness et al, and a quick plug-in with an HDMI cable was all it took to connect the monitor to my NVR. It has an attractive curved base that is quite stable. I have no doubt this LG unit would make an excellent computer monitor as well, and I'm considering  buying another to replace my current 1080p screen.
If you want crisp, colorful images on a smaller screen you can't go wrong with this one.
