One of Canon's best

This is not only a camera I can hide in my pocket for quick use at a meeting or a family dinner, but it serves as an infallible backup for travel and nature photography. In fairly critical analysis, I see no significant difference between prints (up to roughly 11x14") using my 5D or my SD950. I think beyond that enlargement size, there is a slight degradation of image quality. The image-stabilization feature allows low light photography of quite good quality.

Outstanding piece of equipment

An excellent camera for any purpose, Produces photos that can be severly cropped and enlarged to at least 11x14 prints with outstanding quality. Stabilization is excellent.

Great, durable little camera

Excellent, durable little camera. I'm surprised I haven't heard more buzz about this one. Movie mode is great; lots of features I haven't even mastered yet. I have a dSLR and several point and shoot cameras. This is a great, all around small camera to keep with you. Very nice quality photos and 12 mp gives you plenty of room to crop if you want to zoom in more.

Great large images! Tough construction! Loads of shooting features. Movie mode is very good! You will not be dissapointed with this pocket camera! A great traveling camera!

Sleek & Powerful

I use the camera mainly for underwater photography. It has an underwater setting, and the Image Stabilization makes the macro shots come out absolutely amazing! I can't recommend this camera highly enough
