Bigger is Better
Resolution is more than just attention to detail. From large objects to granule textures, 6K images cultivate the nuance of every image, leaving nothing behind. Improvements to micro-contrast and MTF produce a cleaner image, drastically reducing moire and aliasing artifacts. When outputting 6K files to 4K or HD, your image will appear more refined and detailed compared to those captured at lower resolutions. The choice is simple; Bigger is better.

Still Camera? Motion Camera? Both
6K resolution translates to over 19 MP, packing the same detail you expect from your DSLR into a cinema camera. When you can capture motion and stills in 6K 2.4:1 at up to 100 frames per second (fps), or 6K Full Format at 75 fps, you get up to 100 chances per second to capture the perfect picture. Every still is raw and Adobe Photoshop compatible, which means your workflow doesn't need to change-even if technology does. The RED DRAGON sensor blurs the line between motion and still cameras, giving you the best of both worlds.

Same Mounts More Lenses

A redesigned sensor window allows for the use of wider Leica-M and Angenieux lenses, while also providing a larger field of view when shooting. As with the EPIC MYSTERIUM-X, the EPIC DRAGON is widely compatible with 3ality Digital 3D rigs, including the EPIC-inspired ATOM 3D rig. When you're done shooting, you can bring your stereo 3D footage into REDCINE-X PRO for viewing, color correcting, HIT/VIT adjustments, and exporting. The EPIC DRAGON clocks up to 100 fps at full 6K resolution, merging the worlds of hi-speed with hi-resolution. DSMC Ti PL MOUNT

The DSMC Titanium PL Mount enables you to use PL mount cinema lenses with your DSMC or DSMC2 BRAIN. A robust titanium construction and solid locking mechanism provides durable yet lightweight support for PL mount glass. Convenient captive mounting screws remain in place, so you never have to worry about searching for hardware.

This mount is a must have for cinematographers looking for the cinematic aesthetic of PL lenses.

RED MINI-MAG SIDE SSD MODULE

The RED MINI-MAG SIDE SSD MODULE replaces your DSMC 1.8" SSD SIDE MODULE for mounting RED MINI-MAG media. RED MINI-MAGS utilize a faster read/write speed for improved compression ratios, delivering exceptional quality at higher frame rates and resolutions. For slow motion and max resolution image capture, the RED MINI-MAG SIDE SSD MODULE can be swapped in using common hand tools to allow access to the highest performing media RED has to offer.

The RED MINI-MAG system requires that your DSMC is on firmware v5.1.34 or later.
