Since this product includes two different things, I have to write a little bit of a mixed review. I absolutely love the green extreme chargers, in fact I own three of the dual chargers and use them to charge 6 different kinds of batteries for all my photo and video gear. I would give the charger 5 stars. However, this bundle also includes green extreme batteries. I do not have a lot of experience with these batteries, I think I only have one other green extreme battery other than the two that came in this set. Of the two batteries, that cam in this set, one of the two batteries died after exactly two uses and being charged twice. So I would have to give the battery 1 star. I guess I will average this to 3 stars for the set.

It's too soon to know how long it'll last, or last between charges, but so far it's a nice little battery. Weird that they package it in an insanely large box -- and one that's green and brown and boasts of being recycled content and "green extreme." You could fit a dozen of these batteries into the box that holds only one.

For the intended digital camera application, this is a good choice. To power a LED light panel it is a bit under powered. The run time is a bit short. The solution of course is to get a bigger battery. One of the 960 class batteries extends the run time a lot.

I have these batteries for CLAR LED lighting panels and these seem to work OK. I have also had this brand of batteries offered "free" as a part of a kit for my now old Nikon D610. These did not hold a charge very well after only about 6 months of use whereas the Nikon batteries are still going strong after 4 years of use. I will chalk this up to QC perhaps.

So far it works great. Out of the box it had about 80% charge and after three charging cycles, it's looking great.

I charged all the batteries for 3 light the a few days later I go on a location shoot where no power is available to find all the batteries. are dead and will not even turn on the lights much less operate. So I assume having the batteries installed drained them, so I recharged all the batteries and find that each day the charge has been depleted some from just sitting idle.

This battery is great and cost so much less than the ones from Sony. I use it to power LED Lights and they work like a charm. Will buy 2 more in the near future.

The battery works as advertised and makes it so much easier to take video because it lasts a long time. Great that it's rechargeable and small. Good stuff.
